They kinda remind me of the old bite ex vipers, from a distance. Way back in the early to mid 90s. They used to have huge cable to the sounder box. They were my second set of alarms. My first were atomic sensors. Crap in the rain lol

Good alarms, only problem is ya cant add a 3rd alarm if ya buy the 2+1 set, even though the receiver has leds for 3 alarms.

Great video but I was just wondering how waterproof they are and when they will be available by and where from. Also can you change the volume of the receiver or it is the same as the alarms.

Just ordered these it was a toss up between these and the Vader X alarms, As much as I liked the Vader X’s for the drop back indication and screw in snag ears these DR’s just looked much nicer and the build quality seems so much better so hopefully it was a good decision

@@adamburns11 I can’t fault the DR’s so far mate, the receiver is slightly annoying because it doesn’t bleep like the alarm heads, like a liner will have a 2 second bleep and a proper take will be like a a series of the same 2 second bleeps until you pick the rod up

@@leeellis1254 we all carry portable power packs on sessions now and if was a decent battery like 18650 like vapes would last a good weeks session 👍🏻 saves wasting money on batteries that get uses one session dead by the next

@@leeellis1254 hi lee I definitely think it would be worth putting forward the thing is you can buy spare 18650 battery’s anyone who already vapes has spares plus if it runs a vape for 2/3 days of constant use without charge a little led using no power it isn’t going to run out quickly at all I think it’s safe to say it would be a game changer the samsung/Panasonic ones are few £ last forever

Couple of question if I may folks. If you have a receiver with a range of 120m how far away from your rods can you be before an environment agency bailiff issues you with a ticket for fishing with unattended rods? Do you think you have a defence from the charge if you have a receiver?

I think you have to be within site of your rods. I wouldn't feel comfortable being more than 20 yards from my rods and even then, only if they were in open water. My Neville reciever claims like 400m+

So if you have to be within sight of your rods, which I agree is probably the legal requirement, then why would I need a receiver? if I'm asleep in my bivvy am I still within sight of my rods? Playing devils advocate here a bit James buddy... LOL

@@MrAlphafang I'm a proper heavy sleeper mate. I use my reciever even if my bedchairs right near the rods. I've been woken up by my dad or mates cos I've had a screaming run and not heard it. Hasn't happened for years though, thank fuck!

Hi Paul, we are not advocating in any way being away from your rods. The range is a guide to give you maximum confidence in the signal from alarm to receiver. As you know range does vary with trees etc. Kind regards Lee Team JRC
