Hey! I just saw your interview with Quazii and sub'd here and on Twitch. You seem so awesome and I love the professional, kind, and thoughtful presence you bring while doing high-end content. Excited to see what great advice you can offer us healers in S1. P.S. I saw you are from ZJ - Me too!

Excellent vid, Layria. One of the biggest pieces of advice I've given people in my guild and others who ask, is to be eager to learn and be open to evolve as a player. And you really come to know people who are like that and who isn't. I've come across so many people who refuse to change things up in order to progress further. And yet they still ask what's going on, or who's to blame or are eager to blame complex overlapping errors on basic things like, "Oh well I don't have that trinket, so I can do such and such." When in reality, there's often 3 or 4 things wrong. Being open to learn and change is so very important.

Absolutely! Flexibility and being open-minded are definitely important!

Amazing information, for someone who has just decided to push high in keys next expansion, this video came at a perfect time.

I'm so happy it was helpful! As someone who used to be terrified to pug or do anything higher than a weekly key, all of these things helped me last season and this current season.

Ya know what, I could do with a solid new guild. I have been guildless since cataclysm, and the one I recently joined is like a ghost town. once I step into TWW I'll see what's out there. thanklies for the tips Layria dear 😸😸

Such a good feeling when you find the right guild!

Nice video. 1:Be a tank 2:Be heals 3:Join a guild, and do mythic+ with them until high rated and geared. Then be invited just as fast a a tank due to high rating.

My first tip in the video is to play with friends or people you know, so those people can be any role. And if someone doesn't have a guild or know a lot of people then I recommend checking out communities like Oasis or Dungeon Dojo.

@@LayriaYT Very nice. Playing with friends is deff the best out of everything. Not that had to make any in game either. Just gotta put in some effort and message people and be consistent. I'm naturally really funny, and a goof. So Groups tend to like me allot. It's a crazy world out there.

Hi there! This is something i struggle with a lot. How much does meta matter? i love hpal and it's feeling really disheartening to see them in C tier week after week on subcreation. I feel like by not playing something at least somewhat meta I'm setting myself up for failure. I'm not at the level of title or anything, but i would like to do higher end keys (high teens this season type of thing) Loved the video! Thanks for making it!
@LayriaYT5 ай бұрын
I'm so happy you enjoyed it! I believe that any class/spec is capable of pushing high keys and I also think people should play with they enjoy. "Meta comps" make title range keys easier, but I also achieved title in season 3 with an outlaw rogue, ret paladin, and a shadow priest (so no hero or aug evoker). However, I think if you're mostly pugging, then playing a healer class that isn't the most popular will get a little tricky when you're wanting to time higher and higher keys. I think groups are more likely to invite a "meta" healer when you get to the title range keys.

ok so in the second half of the video i learned that i need to git gud while the first two tipps suggest that i either already have friends or wait for a premade to pick me up via pugging keys...i dont know seems like there must be a better option to find grps...
@LayriaYT5 ай бұрын
I don’t mention being picked up by a premade group via pugging keys, I explain that if you join a group via LFG and the key goes well then you might consider adding those people to battle tag in the hope that you might eventually group up with them again for future keys. Additionally, whether you form your own group with friends or pug, my tip about doing research is relevant to both scenarios. Showing up prepared to a dungeon is only going to help make it smoother. These are all tips that helped me last season and this season. If these don’t help you then I hope you find something out there that does.

@@LayriaYT where exactly is here the tipp to form grps? the tipp in your case is: be in a higher raiding environment from where you have 3 friends laying around that you can activate to do keys with. of course being prepared smoothes the run but what every content creator fails to tell you is how do build a grp. okay i should add people on btag, great. now i have a friendslist full of people that are good. now what? do you use a tool to schedule meetup times? do you just aks people to play whenever youre online? if so whats your online time, is that even reasonable? whats the schedule of your group as in how much time you spend together discussing routes or do you jsut yolo it? if you plan for an evening of pushing how is that structures 20 minutes for discussion then execution? do you just yolo it? do you only fill your roster from pugging or are there other channels to get people? if its jsut pugging how do you find out if someone is good or not? you meantioned that you ask for btag, whats the wording? do i have to be giga polite? when you have a friends list, how do get them together, do you just snipe thier keys and hope to yoink a spot? is it acceptable in higher m+ to identify grps and ask for trial keys? answer these questions that are tipps...a rundown of how your season went as in " i had friends on my list we found a good dh and then we got good" is not..sorry

Some people are more receptive to feedback than others, and it also highly depends on how the feedback is communicated and what the context is (did the group just wipe, is it after the group timed a key, etc). In this video, I recommend that people reach out to others when they want to improve.

If I were interested in talking to a woman like this. Anyone have any advice on what I should say? I am older, a little fat and tattooed - hands; throat; head & neck. Most women don't like that and I need other stuff to talk about. If anyone has advice on the opener and rotation. HMU

Also im coming from league of legends im a high elo player and its cool that wow is a game where anyone can get into high keys and do "hard" content , since in league its just not possible for example we have like 1 or 2 girls in high elo.
