It's got to be so hard on your mom, you work your whole life and have to give up everything to guard your health. Love the drive, I grew up in the country, no sidewalk or street lights. Lots of cows and orchards. You and Stewie stay safe

Hope you feel better soon, Dale. I love the relaxing drives you take us all on. Hubs has been using the upside app and he filled up the 33 gallon tank in the van for $2.76/gal. I filled my tiny 13 gallon tank for $3.19/gal yesterday. The prices change from day to day, but on the average, we've been saving around 50 cents per gallon. Give it a try! Every penny counts in this economy.

Hello Dale, love your channel. I grew up in DuBois, and have family history in Benezette, Winslow Hill, Rigeway, Brockway as well. Family is from the Winslow line there in Benezette. Our Daughter and son in law and the grand children are in Mahaffey on 300 acres that I call "Bigfoot Country". Lot of game there and our favorite hunting spot. I too have had back surgery, fusion they called it, and both hips replaced. Everyday is painful but I manage. Some days are worse and usually two Aleve tablets takes the pain down a notch or two and I get through. I know that the Family Dollars are going to close. Dollar Tree purchased them a few years ago, and they are not performing so they are shutting them down. Dollar Tree has excellent food products Clearfield, DuBois. Not sure if they have the refrigerator sections but I buy the cotto meats there for 1.25 and a few other sliced ham, and turkey from Bar S brands and the polish sausage and smoked sausages are good too. DT has so much and they are expanding product lines with larger packages. Check them out if you get a chance, Any how, l miss being home. Stay Frosty!

I went fishing yesterday but it was sooo cold and windy that we didn’t stay long. Today we’re putting together our little garden beds. I’m in Canada and in my area, we definitely can’t plant until late may/early June. Thanks for the nice drive. Take care and have a super day!

Our dollar tree is so bare they have fall decorations and a few Christmas things out! Try not to eat processed foods .. I know it’s hard because most of the food the foodbank gives out is processed. But eat a lot less of it.. no pasta no bread etc will not only drop weight helping your back but it will help inflammation. It’s hard but I guess ya gotta pick your hard …. I’m in horrible pain last night …. Still today . Will make appointment this morning … prob have to wait a few weeks to get in to see him. This time it’s my ankle and foot ! Take care . Feel better.

I totally agree with you about the teens and young adults of today. They seem to spend most of their time on social media. Many don't have a connection with nature or with each other, in the same way as they did back in the day. Is the Family Dollar shelves always empty like that or is it just because it's Monday. Sometimes stores near me don't get a delivery right away after the weekend shopping rush.

Well, the morale is pretty darn low for us Americans, the economy being as it is, with higher prices on everything, it's not easy being a happy about what to spend our money on. I can't believe the price of food. It's like the government wants to starve us to death. Anyway I don't see it as complaining, it is what it is. I like the drives, but I also like it when you talk about stuff. I almost fainted when you said the price of the Coke! I can't wait for some of the trees to open up and look soft and pretty. I went outside to pick some asparagus, and I gave one to my Dottie Lu kitty, I guess she likes eating her veggies because she played with it and then munched half of it and ate it. She likes lettuce too. She is an indoor kitty cat because we have way too many critters out there that could eat her for breakfast. So I just want to say, I am excited to see you go fishing, I know your darn back bothers you but I haven't fished in a long time, and I forgot how to do some things. I hope you will go soon when you are feeling up to it. What do you use for bait? Wormies?

So many different flavors of soda . Dale do you remember the Pop shope ? We loved going and choosing from all those flavors especially the old ones like birch beer 😂 When I was a kid we had State Line potato chips made from real potatos not mushed up stuff . If the pills are not helping your back, its best to get off of them. My dad had a really bad back and got addicted to oxycotin. Was not a good situation, but the doctor just kept giving him more pills and uping his dose. It got real expensive. When he passed away he had gotten off the pills, but his back was so bad he was on oral morphine in his last few months while in hospice care. I hope you can find some relief, they are always coming up with new things. Give kisses to Stewie for me. 😊

I too go to pain management monthly for my back and spend most my time in a wheelchair. I just found out that medicare pays for 8 accupunture treatments a year. That is my option. Spinal fusion at 60 is not. You might see if they can do radio-frequency ablation to burn the nerve. Good luck Dale. 🤞🤞

I have a secret for you. If you drink 1 tablespoon of applecider vinegar, it has to be raw with the mother. Braggs is the best brand. But it needs to be raw with the mother. And you put the tablespoon of vinegar in a hot from the tap as hot as you can drink it down in 8 oz. Glass of water on an empty stomach right. You will lose weight. 1-2 ponds a week. It will lower your cholesterol and triglycerides and LDL. It replenish es your floural gut for better digestion. It cleans your liver of toxins, your gallbladder and kidneys. It also lowers your blood sugar if type 2 diabetic. Or you slice up a fresh lemon drink it like a coffee with boiling water. NO SUGAR what so ever. It defeats the purpose on a empty stomach as well. No Sugar!!!. I to date have lost 60 pounds. My blood sugar levels are 6-8. It works.

Just something to think about. You have to wean off those pain meds if you want to go that route. But I would suggest you get enough pills to last you the month again and wean off. Have you tried cortisone shots or gel shots? They should offer that to you in pain management.

Some of that stuff is high! You have food stamps? Pain meds are hard to get anymore! They even reduced mine because of all the opioid deaths! Pain clinic said I’m getting the highest dosage without going on opiates! So that’s that!! Don’t even know if my doc will approve that!!

Dollar tree 16 oz can 1.25. I dropped my brita water pitcher I can get a counter top that holds more water for about the same price i think maybe more but worth it not to have to fill it constantly. If i fit it right next to the sink i can fill it up from the faucet it has a spray and pulls out doesn't have to spray. Last bread i got at dollar tree looked like it was wheat bread but said white. It was whole wheat which sits on my stomach like a brick. You have beautiful trees around you. Are you a ham radio operator?

Managing cronic pain is a hard thing. The pain is so dibilitating. Wears you down. It is nice you can get out and go ride. I enjoy the ride along and conversation. Fully understand about the medication. Hope you find something that brings down your pain level a notch or two.
