Nice selection. Libraries are great places for vintage photography books. Especially when it comes to film photography.💪🏾👍🏾👍🏾

@lukeisafinename And here I was feeling like the only person who still enjoyed film photography in the Richmond area and then I find your channel being a Patreon of your brother's channel. Nice man, looking forward to binging your videos while putting my huge stack of developed film into binders.

Good stuff. I was recently gifted a huge collection of photo books from the 70s that I need to pick through. Always inspiring and hits different when it's tactile

The short Girl Walk Every Day even has Bill Cunningham and start photograph the dancers in the middle of the film. That's how New York it is.

I am currently reading Photography in Cambodia for review. It covers 150 years of history not just Pol Pot. I seem to find a lot of photography books in second hand stores.

It's weird that many of my photo books are still unread because when they were first given to me, they were presented to me as "coffee table books" first, "photography books" second. Only now as a grown adult, having felt the irritation of hitting my personal limits, have I understood the value of photographic books: Sometimes one just needs to see someone else's process, not the end result, to get a massive influx of ideas. That said, if you were to set off and make a book like one of the ones shown here, what do you think you'd do? Any dream subject or place?

To be fair, photo books do make great coffee table reading imo. Something nice to just flip through and be like "oh that's cool." I've got a couple ideas for a photo book, one of which is simply places to sit. Otherwise, I'd probably organize them by geographic area, like "Chicago" or "The American Southwest" Dream subjects or places? Too many to count
