Probably a call where the owner was having issues and thought some maintenance would fix it. Which is not uncommon. Sometimes units are beyond help and replacing them is the economic solution. Good work.

I got tired of having to oil my Klein diagonal cutters from trimming bushes with them. I ended up putting a pair of pruning shears on my van years back that I can use one handed. They have come in clutch and I can cut branches that are just over an inch thick too. Holly bushes and roses are a royal pain. People don't consider the service man when setting up their landscaping. Thanks for the video and stay safe out there.

Why should they?; the service people get scratched and hurt! LOL

Heated diode is the way to go. Same as my H10pm it’s a hound dog on r22. Works great on other refrigerants as well. Not sure about the new refrigerants. For an ir unit that seems to work pretty good. I’ll stick with my H10 for now. I have a infrared detector like the one you fixed on camera lol

I had a no heat call today. Replaced the capacitor and it ran. Got a call again and this time the blower is seized. This is my second time doing a blower motor and it was terrible. Was loud and not blowing air properly. I messed up bad. She decided on getting a new furnace😅

Great catch might as well condemn the whole system try to sell that new inverter system for sure and tell him to trim the shrubs and explain to customers how those shrubs ruined his system by not letting airflow over it therefore overheating the system etc…. Merry christmas

Leak is pretty substantial. good find. That Trane has run out of track. I had the old one 36 years ago, it took Katrina to kill it. It was getting rusty but worked like a charm. It's the old saying, they don't make them like they use to. Good video

Is a heat strip thats controlled by a contactor instead of a sequencer hard on the electrical system? Can it lead to brownouts?

Contactors are a lot cheaper than sequencers.!!!

You just tell people how important it is to keep the plants away from the equipment. Yet they still let bushes grow up and all around, and still don't understand why if falls...

@@everettstevenson2111 No point to tell them. Just charge them more for the job since you'll spend extra time to complete work.
