If you decide to visit, do check their very complicated timetable for the cablecar/ropeway at: koberope.jp/en/maya/price so you don't get any surprises. Depending on the season/day of week, you might have to be there as early as 16:40. Also, they don't operate on Tuesdays.

May I know what kind of video equipment do you use? Those night scenes were really clear!

Amazing view, might have to add that to my itinerary. Also, very nice transition from the satellite view to the panoramic.

Always love such split moment decisions.. I am a culprit of playing it safe during my travels, but I later realize, really what is there to lose? (Except from a big hefty taxi fare😅) And such exploration is always the sweetest since there are zero expectations. Thanks for bringing us! I will be sure to check this out. So far I only covered Hakodate's.

@@Will_Zhao Yeah, we also took the last car down and also forgot our jackets lol. It was crazy though. When they said last ride at 8:50 they meant it! There was a lot of people at the top when we went and if you weren’t in line for the last ride they locked you out of the station. Im guessing all those people had to hiked back down?

Loved the annotations of the night view otherwise I wouldn't know what I"m looking at. You should try Hakodate. The night view is even more breathtaking but it gets very crowded.

Wow, your channel kinda exploded! Here since the Kyoto Transporation Video haha. I really appreciate this Video. I visited Kobe for the first time 2023 for just one afternoon+evening, and it was definetly not enough. This viewpoint is definetly now on my "wanna see this" list.

I swear there's something about cable cars and magical experiences. I had my own in Wales as I went up something called the Great Orme. Before we left, I sat there dreading the experience because it was pouring rain and I just knew it was going to ruin my hike. Instead, as we left the station, the clouds began to clear, leaving a beautiful contrast of cloud and sun across the landscape and ocean that spread out before us as we climbed higher. The folk band that was on board broke out into Johnny Cash, crooning that they had shot a man in Reno just to watch him die, and somehow this too felt perfect as I watched the sparkling ocean and the Victorian promenade below. Now excuse me while I add this to my oversized travel bookmarks folder.

You have a BAND onboard your cable car while I had to suffer the elevator music? Now that's UNFAIR.😂

That view looks amazing! What time is the last bus? Did it take you to Osaka?
@Will_Zhao3 ай бұрын
It was around 9:10PM when I took the one in the video, it was the local '坂バス' services. Not sure when's the last one but the latest possible arrival back to the station for the cablecar is around 9:05PM so I think the bus will have you covered whenever you decide to visit. The bus didn't take me to Osaka, only to JR Kobe so I could take a train.
