Another valuable video from Mr. Valuation. Just a heads-up that there’s something “soft” with the audio on this one. With headphones I can hear clearly only in a very quiet room.

Yay! We love multi-part series! Thank you. Another excellent survey of the current investing landscape. I've become interested in the Interest Coverage Ratio metric. With debt and interest rates top-of-mind these days, it would be most helpful to be able to screen on Interest Coverage Ratio. Consider adding it to your toolbox. Also, I have a strong feeling that rational, intelligent investors eventually find their way to FASTgraphs, and their search for a stock research tool is complete. I'd love to see what great minds are out there using FASTgraphs, and how they are using it. Consider running a subscriber contest, say, for the most clever screening settings. Even with your complete knowledge of FASTgraphs as its co-inventor, I am certain that people have found clever ways to use FASTgraphs that even Mr. Valuation hadn't thought of before. 🙂

I already like and own GPC since many years. When I realized that it was a great compounder that was also very cheap, I had to buy the shares. Would you maybe like the idea of consistently growing super compounding stocks with the highest possible ROIC and favorable valuations to be presented by you in a new video series? Roughly in the spirit of Joel Greenblatt's Magic Formula, practically implemented with FAST Graphs? 😇 As always, thanks for the regular value investing wisdom. 🥂💸🕵️♂️

Hello Chuck, it would be helpfull if you would add adjustment for taxes in reinvesting dividends so one can adjust the results for his particular situation.

GPC looks interesting. Kicking myself for never holding onto GWW Grainger up 38% this year. I do own LKQ since July down 15%

It does but EV doesn't need 70% of parts so Im not sure how will they adapt to environment where most of their products will go extinct. But it is still 10 years away so probably medium term they should be okay.

I have been looking more closely at Genuine Parts for a few weeks now, since a slight miss on revenue for Q3 in mid October. This caused a more than 10% drop in share price, which seemed an overreaction. Particularly given that the company actually raised their own full year earnings forecast.

One of the things I appreciate about FASTgraphs is that it's a long term tool, e.g. the earnings and sales charts are yearly results. I expect the chart would get really raggy with 20yrs of quarterly results. But when I'm looking at a chart of the last 3-5 years, it would be good to get a finer detail view. Any thoughts of enabling quarterly Historical charts? Though I also suspect that quarterly results can be fudged until the close of the year, so maybe less reliable?

Hi chuck i am a suscriber love the videos.. i have a question when looking at valuations when zoom out some companies look undervalued. But when the time frame is decreased lets say last 3-5 yeara its overvalued( above orange or blu line? So which valuation do yo go by? Example WIRE thanks

Hi chuck, I know you talk about long ideas but, can you test a video on overvalued stocks as well too.

Thanks for your video/s Chuck. Interesting to see how you think about things. I'm wondering if you've ever addressed how you think about dilution of shareholders. I noticed with REITs there can be some dilution, but if they do that in order to buy more properties and generate more revenue I wonder if the dilution is ultimately beneficial? Thanks!
@FASTgraphs Жыл бұрын
It all depends on a lot of factors which means it's unique to each company. However, as a general rule I like to see companies issuing stock when their valuations are high. In that way, they are raising capital efficiently. In contrast, I don't like to see them buying stock back when valuations are high. I want to see companies buying their stock what it would be attractive to me as well. Regarding REITs, as you pointed out they are buying additional real estate in order to generate more future revenue. But they are also adding assets or equity. Bottom line is it all depends on the situation the company is in. Regards, Chuck
