important the rules state you can only place two units per round in a system regarding the build queue, that is very important for your placement of troops close to corelia

Yep! I forgot that rule coming back to the game after so long.

Nice play and amazing job on the editing. Quite a lot of mistakes but that’s ok, you are learning it. I do miss the banter of hearing your actual game chat but that would make for much longer videos like mine are :). Keep it up!

I have these written down from the discord chat. Did you notice any others? * when you are using advanced combat cards that say "prevent red/black/direct hits" you only prevent these type of diceroll results from actually causing damage, after your opponent rolls/rerolls. So you can't prevent the damage that is caused by other combat cards (since you are preventing hits and not damage) * when you are deploying units at the end of refresh phase, you only get to place up to 2 units to any one of your systems/the rebel base space, so you can't stack them without limitations into one system * you can't opt out from landing your ground untis to the surface when you move them to another system, if they move there, they also land there. The only exception from this is if the system is blown up by the death star, in that case non of the ground units can land/fight and they are just carried. * when you play any of your action cards, at least one of the leaders (or the one leader) that is on the card has to be in the system. So your opponent couldn't play Vader's capture action card, since he was sitting on a mission (would he be in the leaderpool, he could have sent him to very likely fail in opposing, but then play his card)

It was mainly those multiple times yeah :) Not sure if this one applies because it could have just been editing but when the rebel player did contingency plan, you only assign the leader to a new face down starting mission, that you later in the round activate. Your edit I think looked like it was immediately assigned and activating that second RM. I've made these mistakes and worse over time though so all good! Think my worst was not realising that Rapid Mobilization can't take units from a system to the base is there is a leader locking them. We missed that for like 15 games for some reason.
@BeyondtheBoard4 жыл бұрын
Oh no I for sure immediately did contingency plan instead of later doing it. Oh well :D

Anyone else have a weakness for putting the base in Alderaan for the cheese factor? I have done it in nearly all of my games!
@DraxxHUN4 жыл бұрын
If playing agressive as rebels I prefer the base at Cato Nemodia and launching a turn1 surprise attack round 1 or 2. The precondition to that, 1, Corelia is neutral or subjugated 2, Imperial spread out evenly or weekly in the inner ring. Should you do that it is a must to move your base to a new spot
@BeyondtheBoard4 жыл бұрын
@@DraxxHUN I love this idea, especially considering the value of Corellia (Star Destroy / Mon Cal) and Kashyyyk (Ground Forces). Moving adjacent from the base really narrows down where you're but not enough that you won't have a few turns to relocate!
@DanThorpeGamingWithIdiots4 жыл бұрын
Its also a good place to move from as you give them a probe card for the middle where you dont really want to be. You are more likely to draw a better location for sure.

@@BeyondtheBoard I checked your video first part. The reason I'm proposing to frontload a rapid in such tense situations (very close to coruscant) reflected in your video. Once the Imperial activated Ord Mantell you can flee (in your case from Alderaan) at the end of the turn. I would have been concerned if Imperial activated a system adjacent to my empty base. The other aspect of Rebel I always try to keep in mind is this. While Rebel is able to cause significant burst damage to imperial, on the long run Rebel losses can backfire spectacularly.
