Looking into the Eye of Medusa with Kelley Hunter

Kelley Hunter Ph.D., is an internationally-known Astrologer, based in Vermont. Her work is informed by mythology, psycho- spirituality, creative arts, holistic and consciousness studies, as well as 1001 nights of stargazing in the Caribbean.

You talking about the dark comfy velvety feeling of safety, the dark womb, I've had that in my first vision of Anubis, I was floating in it. It felt like thick, liquid black light, but it was pitch black. That was the safest feeling I've had in my entire life. ❤❤❤

You mention the masculine and feminine being flipped in Vedic teaching, the still point and the creation. I've always wondered why the Egyptians did that with Geb and Nut, earth god and sky goddess. But to see the masculine as the seed and the sky as a blanket or atmosphere in which it grows might make sense. Bit like a womb, too. Although I still struggle with the concept of a masculine earth. 😅 Would love your thoughts on that. ❤

I really like exploring the masculine and feminine aspects to every element/planet/sign. It gives me some new and interesting perspectives. I think there can always be room for exploration and I think ever since the sexes were divided and we went from beings to men and women, we’ve been trying to figure out our differences. 😂

​@lightalwayswins33 😂 yes, definitely. ❤ and I feel you on looking at both sides. I found that really brought it up for me was Tarot, looking at archetypes and personality traits, rather than whatever gender is portrayed on a card as a physical given.

Shiva/Shakti are always One, implying one another. Think about the Man in the Moon in Vedic Astrology Nakshatras, the Moon Mansions, visiting a different one of his 'wives' each night- 27-28 small asterisms or star clusters that each have their own 'shakti' or goddess power It's like a whole other zodiac of 27-28 lunar mansions
