You know how I feel about this ship but I also know how you feel about this ship and wow, just wow Hannah. I think the heart of this is showing who Sawyer is, who Kate is, and why their relationship was important and beautiful and no one else has been able to make me feel strongly about this as you have right here. The devil's in the details with the letter and the toy plane, just showing those parallel journeys and how there's this underlying tension between them because they know each other better than anyone else on the whole island, that unshakeable understanding as you said, and that's how they connect on this basic, instinctual, tiger don't change it's stripes level. The way you used the helicopter scene (my fave skate scene btw) with the music change gave me chills and as everyone already pointed out the way you then rewound everything to them reuniting on the island was so damn powerful, just so visually satisfying and heartbreaking if that makes sense. Anything Lost related from you is an absolute blessing tbh

Hannah, I am speechless but this deserves a speech so I'm gonna try. I loved Lost but I haven't rewatched it and so it's been years since I watched it and although this is not my ship, when it comes to your videos, it really fucking does not matter if you ship what you've vid Hannah, the power in your storytelling in just under 5 minutes (in this case) is so wonderful that anyone watching will ship anything you ever vid. The way you interpreted the lyrics (the devils in the details with the shots used of the toy plane for example) is mesmerising and then do not even get me started on that beat change with the colour shift and the reversal of the clips, so fucking powerful Hannah I'm actually just so in awe here right now that I wish I could be more eloquent. I can feel your love and care for them and how you showed just why, as individual characters, they were attracted and drawn to each other and that emotional tether they had to each other throughout the show. Also the voiceovers of how Sawyer knows what Kate thinks of him and using the clips of him sacrificing himself jumping from the helicopter was SO DAMN AMAZING! This is, as always, perfection from you Hannah.

YES I TOOK 9 HOURS TO WATCH IT SO I COULD BE READY FOR A SKATE VIDEO MADE BY YOU. okay, now I will stop screaming. this video means everything to me. "you don't wanna hurt yourself", YES. that's kate&sawyer. two people unbelievably damaged by life who would do anything not to hurt themselves. she runs, he cons. they could fool anyone else. they could fool themselves, but damn, they could never fool each other. they never could. and that's why they try as hard as they can not to love each other. because loving each other would mean accepting who they were, "It would degrade me to marry Heathcliff, so he shall never know how much I love him. not because he's handsome, but because he's more myself than I am. Whatever souls are made of, his and mine are the same." and like you brilliantly said in your description, accepting that they love each other means that they accept how broken they already are. I just can't with this ship, with your video and everything these two are and represent for me. I will never ship anything more than I ship Skate. Thank you Hanna. Just thank you.

okay. i was struggling to keep it together from the very beginning. because ALL THE FUCKING DETAILS were cutting through me and it was SO much, almost TOO much for me. and i was like "okay but i'm watching it all first before writing anything". then the "come back" part and THE CLIPs PLAYED BACKWARDS and reversed and I just lost it. whatthefuck hannah. like. really.

but for real, I dare anyone - even the most motivated sk hater (? is this a word tho?) - not to feel and understand them through this? you actually showed what sk really and truly are and I loved that you used this song for them because it IS them. and that you focused on their "personal" journey that inevitably became a shared journey because really, that's who and what they were. sharing even from a distance, the two people on the island that just didn't belong, so closed up but able to let the other see straight through them. and the fact that you used so many "little"/"subtle" moments and quotes to show this is my favourite thing, because they really stood out and killed me even more. thank you for this video, queen. it was exactly what I needed.
