I love the scent "L'Ete en Douce" by L'Artisan Parfumeur. It's described as "The story of a sweet and tender summer. White linen sheets blow gently in the breeze, while a faint scent of orange blossom wafts through the air." and that is exactly what it reminds me of, newly washed linen drying in a sunny summer breeze. 💛☀

I think, for me, the most stable type of scent profile I would prefer to wear for the rest of my life will be clean, soapy, laundry, musky, and soft fragrances :D Nowadays, I am obsessed with Naviglio by Milano Fragranze. It's like a beautiful white bar soap with petitgrain, lavender, and musk. I think it also performs well.

I love clean smelling fragrances. I don’t know if I will ever try Byredo again. I was burned on a blind buy. It was so bad that I actually blocked the name from my memory. It smelled like rotting trash. My dog even sneezed around me when I was wearing it. Chalk it up to experience. Love the channel. Will try some new fragrances. Thank you.

I have Blanche, Lazy Sunday Morning and Bubble Bath and I adore them 🥰 I also have Dior Cologne Blanche and Bryredo Young Rose, both fresh but I feel Dior Cologne Blanche is a comforting cold winters day scent. Young Rose vibrant, yet gentle, fresh and sparkling, unfortunately does not last that long on me. Not a laundry scent but as one of my favourites had to mention it 😂

Years ago I used a cologne that had the most magnificent scent--the name was Tabac. It had a mild, clean scent, and I would get compliments wherever I went. Over the years, for some odd reason, they changed their formula that changed the scent significantly. Have been looking for any cologne that somewhat replicates the scent of the old Tabac.

I like Prada Amber Pour Homme. I stocked up on it when I heard that it's discontinued. To this list, I might add Lacoste Eau de Lacoste L.12.12. White. I hope to try the other ones which you mentioned in this video.

Great video, two more I would recommend: Pure Musk by Afnan - floral opening and then you basically get the smell of bounce sheets/ivory soap. Clean Musk by Authenticity Perfumes - citrus opening and then ivory soap/ironed shirt smelling… great performance!!!

Ishtar by Roja Parfums is super soapy and clean (mostly from resins). Also, Violets du Czar by Oriza Le Grande smells just like violet bubble bath.

Blanche is really far from the fragrances I normally like, but I really love it. Something about the scent that makes me feel safe and happy. 😊 Also some sort of reminder of different times, even though I can't put my finger on any actual memories that connect to the scent. It used to be the "room fragrance line" in my favorite hotel in Stockholm during a period when I spent a lot of time there for work. Not far from the Byredo office actually, at least at the time. That's how I discovered both the scent and the brand.

I believe for a price point of 100 - 300 USD per 50-100 ml bottle, we should get some return that surpasses the smell of a bar of soap in concentration and quality. Of course, especially on wicked hot days, I crave an indicator of cleanliness, and on those days, I go with Elizabeth Arden or Narciso Rodriguez tops. I would never splash that much on MFK AU, Byredo Blanche, or Nasomatto China White etc.

Also: L'Eau Serge Lutens smells like freshly-ironed shirts. Probably others among Lutens's eaux (L'eau Froide, Laine de Verre, etc.) smell like laundry, too.

Pure Grace by philosophy is a clean cool white cotton t shirt scent. Baby Grace is also very clean by the same company. They are known for skincare so their fragrances get over looked...

I have not invested in any fragrances that fall into this category. I do have 2 soapy fragrances though, Ô D'Azur by Lancôme (discontinued), and Un Jardin Sur Le Toit by Hermès. I tend to avoid a lot of these. The white musk can really alienate me. They take me back to unwashed bodies, Jovan White Musk and junior high. I do love Chypres and soapy fragrances though. Neroli is a favourite note.

Unrelated, I just got my bottle of Ambra Calabria, and I remember just recently you were saying how it was kind of similar to its cousin, Wulong Cha. I've had the latter for some time and couldn't understand how the tea based fragrance would be similar to a fresh amber fragrance. Now that I have both I totally understand what you mean, however I'm leaning more toward the amber.
