To the Chanel question - you can buy Le Lion and they will send you a free sample with it, so you can try without opening the package. If you don't like it you can return it. They have this option only for Le Lion, as it is new perfume.

I think you are the best fragrance personality on the tube. What do you think of Bandit, the pure perfume? I fell in love with the layering the perfume and the eau de perfume. I’m a 74 year old woman so find it too bold for me now but I still love to sniff the bottle. Orientals and chypre scents are my favorites.

I recently bought Nuit D’Issey and it’s a batch from 2017. I think it went bad, the citrus & the incense note are not what they should be I think. I doubt it smells this way but I really don’t have a way of knowing

Concerning purchasing vintage fragrances. Could also just be luck of the draw if you. I purchased an out of the box Silver Stem Dior Homme on ebay for $50 in May 2020. As soon I received it in the mail, I discovered it was a 2005 bottle. It had never been sprayed and it smells phenomenal. Smells considerably beter than the 2011(which I also own ) formulation, with a more leather note to my nose. Point being, if you are willing to lose a few bucks if things don't work out. Go for it and take that risk. I've lost my fair share on buying fragrances on ebay but damn that 2005 Dior Homme is a gem.

Baccarat rouge is everywhere now in my city, u know , they dupe it, as refill fragrance, sell as cheap as 2 usd per 20ml decant bottle. Everything that's popular, smells sooo good wil be duped as per Dana said.

MFK Ciel de Gum is no longer listed on the MFK website. It is gone. Last year, I ordered samples and picked Ciel de Gum as 1 of the 4 in the set. I liked it but already had Grand Soir so that was it. The full size bottle was available at that time as well. During the winter, I realized that Amber fragrances are my favorite and I tried many different ones. I revisited my sample and planned on buying. Ciel de Gum is really good. In January 2021, it is no longer listed on the website or included in sample choices. It is gone. I searched online for other options and nothing. It is really gone. I was a few months too late. It is possible it might return to the MFK website but I think this is a very low chance.

I am looking mainly for an Amber fragrance with a huge projection that does not get soapy and leans more into that gourmand direction. Warm, spicy, not herbal or green, not floral - More of a delicious winter fragrance 😊

Cologne's will not last long. Only pure parfum or extrait lasts and mature, and often becomes richer and better. Jo Malone colognes, for example, go bad in a year and all of them start to smell almost like the same aroma chemical.

I have a question! I wanna wean my husband from Dior Sauvage. He’s been wearing that for almost 3 years now. Eau de toilette during the summer and eau de parfum the rest of the year. I think he tried cologne last spring. I tried to get him Oud for Greatness and he said he liked it but barely used it. I was hoping you could give me 3 frags that may have the same vibe as Dior Sauvage but better and getting more and more different and he can in the end put Sauvage to rest. Lol

Fantastic series! Can anyone recommend scent that'll work for lifestyle on warm, humid island weather? Note I also have mosquitoes to contend with and cheapies attract them. Most if not all of collection before being on this island are Amourage and the like - which is meant for cooler and colder weather. Dark, resinous, and boozy -- which I don't think could be worn here. Cheers!

Go for lemons in the humid heat. Lemons work great in heat. Acqua Viva by Profumum Roma and Eau D'Hadrien by Annick Goutal!
