I just think Pegasus Exclusif is dressier and more rounded than Pegasus, while Pegasus is a statement maker that is fresher and more projective. I think you are correct, they are totally different fragrances, and I like them both because I treat them as such. Each has a different occasion, and they don't replace each other. PDM should not have given the name Pegasus Exclusif to the new flanker, and it would have been a greater hit. I like them equally but differently.

I agree with everything you said. I think the exclusif tag was perfect for Pegasus. It is still 70% similar just some added funk and spice. Great change, I think they both deserve a purchase, not redundant

Eau D’Ombre Leather is my new signature and compliment getter. It is not peppery like babycat and almost half the price of babycat in Europe. So I think you don’t need babycat anymore. When compared with OG, it is more unisex now and less leathery because in fact it is good, leather is really polarising where causes more misses then hits.

I still am looking for Gucci Rush for men clone. People sniffed me out and were as enthralled by the scent my own pheromones and that produced. I was shocked but it happened repeatedly. I read the old stock is often degraded but my remaining bottle is perfect. I wish I could find this or something very close.

Did not even know there was a Fougere Royale Extrait. I'll try to smell it when possible, but after your suggestion almost certainly I will stick to the og and avoid the extra price. My bottle of Fougere Royale is already slightly less than half left, within a year I should be getting a replacemente or a backup bottle. This is a great video idea. Another pair to analyze this way: Red Tobacco or Red Tobacco Intense?

I like Pegasus Ex much more than Pegasus. It adds more complexity and is so much more interesting and pleasant smelling. Same with Layton Ex over Layton. I guess I'm in the minority here.

I prefer the ombre leather parfum now after finishing a 10ml of the original signature blend. The original kinda gives me a headache, it's so dry and bitter on me Parfum is smooth and the violet leaf is so nice

I think PdM pricing is unconscionable- don’t think even their best (Herod, imo) justifies their pricing. That said… I much, much prefer the “Exclusif” version of Pegasus to the original, which I find dull and maybe headachey, even!
