Thanks so much for this review of another interesting new brand, Sebastian! I’ve been going to Barbados for decades now, and love that island! The eastern coast, which is on the Atlantic Ocean instead of the Caribbean Sea, has these black cliffs and the sea is very rough. This bottle captures it perfectly! I think these fragrances are hinting at various aspects of volcanoes. I wish the bottles were shiny like a hunk of deep black shiny, and rough volcanic slag rock. In my opinion as they stand at the moment, they look like someone painted rocks black that they gathered from their yard, and did a pale gray dry brush highlight on them. They're not horrible, but they're not beautiful bottles in my opinion. Thanks for continuing to bring our attention to new brands Sebastian. I appreciate it! These bottles are very cool! I’m a sucker for black and gold bottles. I think they tend to capture the vibe of fragrances I’m into very well. Wood Lime sounds amazing! I have yet to find a favorite lime fragrance and am still on the hunt! I’m in TX and citrus just works well most of the year in the climate here.

I wanna know how many times you said "Dark". haha. There were a couple times when it was mentioned about 4-5 times in one breath. But I understand. You gotta convey the true nature of these fragrances. I am most looking forward to Limewood. The cinnamon throws me off a bit for the Beautiful Monster. I haven't had a lime and lemongrass fragrance before but it intrigues me for a top note and I absolutely adore cooking with those ingredients for their aromatic properties and flavor, so that's a huge plus. But the the vetiver and birch are among my top favorite notes that I have already experienced from other houses as well as the different woods in the basenotes. It seems like a great experience from start to finish that I could definitely be wearing quite often. Subscribed from Georgia. =)

Different islands can have many separating aspects and scents. Naturally, some of them aren't what might be classically imagined. Because of its' lighter, yet smoky, buttery and saffron notes, I find Mr Pink to be the most interesting for me. I'd love to win it and I'm in Texas.

This house sounds intriguing. You made Beautiful Monster sound most appealing - leather and spices, what more could one want. The bottles are beautiful too, the only thing I am not sure about is too stark a contrast between black and white highlights, but I would have to look at them in person. I actually went on their site; it is weird that they have two discovery sets, with Mr. Pink being in both; I would rather they had one with all 5 scents. I am in MD.

The scents sound interesting and I love a dark frag . My choice would be Blinding Light , I really like a good tuberose and don't have one in my collection at this time . So the reason I would like to win it is just that , to fill that tuberose space . I love supporting new houses . I am in Montana . I'd love to see the bottle in white or gold . The island is known for it's blackbelly sheep , and of course the dark history of slavery and sugarcane . There are cliffs at the north end of the island where you can see Animal Flower Cave . I hope they release a scent called Animal Flower !!

What a great review! I am in love with the aesthetic of the bottles and I really love deep dark fragrances. I found every description fascinating but I think Blinding Light would be my preference. This is a tough decision between Limewood and Beautiful Monsters. While I love fizzy openings, I am more intrigued by Beautiful Monsters. I am an artist that works with tar and pitch as a medium. To start, I think the bottles are very creative and unique - - they look like they were chiseled out of a black cliff. The bottles are very interesting looking and unique. I've never seen anything quite like them. The leather you're picking up in Beautiful Monster might be from the labdanum. It's a very leathery and sometimes a smoky resin to my nose a lot of the time. I've never heard of this house and would love to discover them. From the note breakdowns, Mr.Pink seems the most interesting to me but they actually all sound original and interesting. I just like the note breakdown the most out the 5 listed. I might pick up one of the discovery sets as Mr.Pink is listed as being in both discovery sets. I am not in the USA, but I do have a mailing address in the USA in Pennsylvania. Not sure if that disqualifies me from the giveaway but if it's okay, then I'd love to be entered even though I just won the Atelier Oblique giveaway.

What I find interesting except for coconut and lime listed as notes in Blackcliff none of the notes seem inspired by Barbados. Which is NOT necessary a bad thing. Nevertheless the bottles are dope. They look as though they were created from glass/stones. I find Mr. Pink is intriguing .The butter and cotton candy notes really want to experience. So I would choose Mr. PINK if I won. Im here in California

I think the design of the bottles are super unique and beautiful! I think I'd choose your recommendation, Beautiful Monster, and I would probably like Mr. Pink. I would want love to have Beautiful Monster because i'd love to have a fragrance with Birched Tar in it! I've smelled it before in samples of Falcon Leather from Matiere Premiere and Coeur De Noir from BeauFort London and it smells fantastic! And I would like to add that to round out my fragrance collection :) I'm from Florida P.S. I love it when you introduce new fragrance houses, it's always nice to know there are plenty of unfamiliar houses to me. P.P.S. Those bottle are really fantastic, they are super unique. Sexy eyes looks like it would be up my alley. I love scents that mix white florals and woods. If done right they play with stereotypical masculine and feminine scents in a way that interests me. I would love to win the giveaway because I’m just starting out in perfume making and would love to be able to smell more creations that are out of reach financially for me right now.
