@@MrGeoffashley I was born late 80's and have a soft spot for Casio's of that era. I have quite a few, including the Ultra rare Va-10 with mic input and fx including a pseudo vocoder. I also own an RZ-1 and was lucky enough to get the samples tape with it. I've also tracked down a few of the SK1 cassettes as well. Closet is filled with casio's. The company that wasn't afraid to take risks. Who needs a guitar with a built in cassette? EVERYONE!
@MrGeoffashley4 жыл бұрын
Always such a unique sound. They used to have such a bad rap in the 80’s, 90’s, and early 00’s...written off as cheesy toy sounding keys...but I loved them. And the company as a whole..they made everything from cassette guitars to calculator watches. Outstanding!!

I never knew these things had been made. Quite interesting both you and Hainbach wound up getting them and posting videos about them on the same day. @sam. Maybe try adding a center detent pot between the left and right output of the tape circuit to allow you to fade/mix between the two. That would give you access to two independent loops. I would look into the "distortion" circuit myself. Maybe add a pair of diodes on a dpdt rocker switch? Never tried but I wonder how hard it would be to modulate the voltage input to the motor to get some wow/flutter? Seems like it wouldn't be difficult. Only worry being undercurrent and burning up the motor.
