It says universal but does the light fit and work with pit bikes? I have an SSR 170TX that I am going to be making road legal.

Hi Johnny, you might have problems with the distance between the forks. The headlight mounts with rubber straps on the fork guards. Thank you

at $260 plus..its way overpriced, especially with the limited run time. I would put down maybe $170 for this technology, while still gritting my teeth a bit, but at the current price, it is simply outstandingly expensive, I assume this is due to the battery mostly and the solar panel models,...you can get a hi output stator for that price, also simply buying and mounting standard sealed lead acid battery and a decent LED light bar, or another Polisport assembly, you would spend far less, and be in the same boat, meaning limited run time, however if you spend $115 bucks on an antigravity lithium 12v and bought yourself a $50-$70 Light you would surpass the run time and still be way under budget, but if you were a little more budget minded you could buy a good battery powered clamp on mountain bike light (or even a couple)....the problem here is this is oriented to the guy or kid who has a dirtbike who wants some light...not big spenders to begin with, not exactly the middle aged harley rider solid bank roll kinda guys..Ive shown maybe 30 people this at different riding events near me, all of them thought it was awesome, that is until the cost was revealed, they all said the same thing..."its neat but screw that, I'll"do this or i'd do that before paying that much""......this probably will not sell very well in the long run (maybe the cost of production was too high to begin with) but if the production costs are low and they already are factoring in low sales, that could explain the high cost...someone wanted this to happen, so it did....and PoliSport was the first....so I'm waiting for the low cost competitor myself.
