Probably one of my all time favorite tourist attractions. I have postcards of it from present day to 1904. You know who are the first timers when it gets steep and people start freaking out. Lol Thanks for taking us along.

Yes....there are beautiful views at Point Park too. I've lived in and around Chattanooga all my life....and I've only been on the Incline once that I can remember. 👍

I never heard of this one but have ridden the Duquesne Incline in Pittsburgh dozens of times, usually bringing friends to Steelers games and taking them on it for the spectacular view of the Point, 3 Rivers, Dahntahn, both Stadiums. This looks just as awesome!!

I rode on an incline in Pittsburgh, Pa. up to Mt.Washington. It was neat! This, you were on was steeper. I enjoyed seeing Chattanooga. Interesting history on the inclines. They had a nice snack bar, & a really nice gift shop. The brown t-shirt that looked nostalgic was the best of all, I thought. I liked this, it was fun.
