Hey - that's AWESOME. I think I should write out a baby version because this is actually one of my favorite hat patterns. I so love this stitch.
@jammerjen55043 ай бұрын
@LoomaHat Me too!!! 😁 Typically, I don't go by a pattern or even count my stitches or rows, I just go by the seat of my pants & judge the "size" by eye - a couple times they've been too small, but super cute nonetheless. 😜 *I wish we could share pics on YT* Thx for sharing!! ❤️
@a.r.383616 күн бұрын
@@jammerjen5504 hello, what size of loom do you use for those baby hats and how many rows/rounds of ribbing and the main stitch you do?
@jammerjen550416 күн бұрын
@a.r.3836 Hi! For brand new babies, I use the smallest (blue) loom, but for toddlers & little kids, I use the 2nd size up (red). Older kiddos I use the green loom & for adults I use the largest (yellow). If I do a ribbed start, I'll typically do 6-8 rows & then I never count my 'body' of stitches - I just eyeball the size or go until I run out of yarn. I usually use 2 skeins of chunky yarn (64 yds ea). Hope this helps, even though it's not very specific. I wish we could share pics on here. Good luck!! 👍 Have fun!!

I love this pattern and I have made a few in different colors. I adapted that to a chunky Flexee. I prefer when it is more like Beret, so I use 52 pegs and the brim is UK3, P1, the rest is the same as in the video. This gives me the "mushroom" look I like. Thank you for your creations and videos sharing your knowledge. It would be great to see you experimenting with the Flexees .
