gonna write an essay so bear with me for a minute tbh I think the actual problem in 2024 was PVP 2.0 was mostly taking up the dev time, NOT EVENTS, as A LOT of dev time was taken up by that, and it's STILL being worked on right now with some big balance changes happening eventually, and spectating was just recently added to dream teams a few days I don't really believe events were the problem in 2024 cause when you think about it they mostly just reused assets for a lot of em, the maps also aren't made by tbradm either so I don't think building takes away dev time either as there's an entire group of builders that do that while tbradm does the actual coding the only actual big event in 2024 that didn't reuse assets was loomunity park imo, halloween 2024 was mostly reused stuff from previous events (minus the new loomians, map and reskins, but even then most of this wasn't done by tbradm), the most amount of dev time put into halloween 2024 was probably profile customization, but even then that's a general and permanent feature so I don't think it's that big a deal, christmas 2024? also mostly reused assets, same thing with the halloween event (map, reskins, new loomians) the real problem is the fact that tbradm is the only coder and the fact PVP 2.0 took up half the dev time in 2024, half a year of dev time put into something only a portion of the playerbase will enjoy, most of the events were again, reused assets, loomunity park being the exception

Honestly I dont rlly mind the amount of "roamers" we have. My main issue with them is they're called "roamers" instead of something similar to legendaries. Roamers doesnt rlly sound like a legendary thing, and it gets even more confusing with loomians like Pyramind and Vari that roam everywhere yet arent "roamers" and then we have loomians that are like legendaries but dont roam (Nymaurae and Nymesis). IDK just a random nitpick I have about how confusing their term "roamer" is. Someday they need to change the name ngl :p

Yeah, but they always get more players when they actually update the story. Event pull in like 5k people. Every new route and story update got 15k people playing at a time. Its not that they're to slow at updating, its that they keep focusing on event and putting off the actual story

Yea there are soooo many roamers my idea is to add some roamers to the adventure mode as soft resetable where you have to find the like and some puzzle to unlock it (like cephalops)

What about demoting roamers? Things like grimyuline don't HAVE to be roamers, they don't need 650 base stats or whatever, they don't need to be super duper special, they just need to be unique and have like a minigame or miniplot to unlock.

Since I'm free now, I thought I'd clarify, we have a nearly unused pseudo legendary category (according to jamie) which is literally just pharoglyph. Why not put nymaurae, nymesis, mimask, odoyaga and grimyuline there? I think roamers need to pass a vibe check and these feel like they'd be with gobbidemic on the 'useful and occasionally op single staged looms'. I'm only suggesting grim for the pseudo category because of the aura it gained from the maze, otherwise he's just a silly guy. Odoyaga? Literally just an ancient witch in a wisp-y, wind-y body?? Nymaurae and nymesis feel the most like roams from what I've listed and I still wouldn't mind them being pseudos especially cuz of their obtainment style. Anyways, if you've read this and have an opinion, lmk I wanna see potential arguments against what ive said

I thought all event roaming had a separate table while all the story roams are sitting on the same table. I’d say I got a roaming every 1/16 minutes counter rate which matches the math I did

there's pretty much always 3+ separate tables for each event now, being: main story roamer pool (duskit, ikazune, protogon, dakuda, mutagon, cephalops, arceros, glacadia, and elephage) past event roamer pool (halloween is metronette, nevermare, gargolem, and odoyaga) (christmas is wabalisc, akhalos, celesting, and mimask) the featured event roamer pool (basically the newest roamer that gets added to the game is temporarily apart of it's own pool until the event is over, most recent case of this is grimyuline) and then finally the reskin event roamer pool, each reskin is apart of it's own separate pool, going by the most recent examples with the christmas event then there would've been a total of 3 pools, being: toy protogon (all 6 colors share the same pool) santa duskit and hot chocolate odoyaga basically meaning the 2024 christmas event had a total of 6 different roamer pools, to recap these pools are: main story roamers past event roamers featured event roamer (most recent roamer addition, in this case being grimyuline) roamer reskin pool 1 (toy protogon) roamer reskin pool 2 (santa duskit) roamer reskin pool 3 (hot chocolate odoyaga)

I feel like the only event roamers that aren't repeated in the wild is of course nymaurae and nymesis as you just need cakes for them,but i agree about the roamer turn off option as it would be a great concept as i wanted gamma akhalos as i never got it years prior and of course me having work i didnt have much time to hunt but one roamer i would turn off is definitely cephalops and mutagon because i found those too many times

I find it funny they think the solution to fixing the game is to change how event roamers work instead of focusing working on the permanent content. this is why I'm switching to Tales of Tanorio

lil thing that i thought about with the reskin basically reruns, make them variant loomians the last time we got a variant was like 4 years ago with sweets phancub (which is outrageous) also let there be an option for newer players to get the older roaming that is not the variant version (prob same obtainment method but they just make a decision whether or not to get the variant) this could also lead to cool things down the line like nevermare's parasite taking over another creature idk just a thought i personally had when i saw the vid ❤

It's literally a chance to every f2p to get gamma roam. It's only good for them. Since they don't use boost. I think it would be the same as alpha soft reset roam. In my opinion that's a wonderful idea.

I more likely hate their odds. Too high. It's not "rare" what our naive JamiyJamie said, it's impossible. In my opinion gamma soft reset good idea, because you literally can get your favorite gamma. Look at me. Playing 4 years, literally 0 gamma roaming. They should lower the odds, and everything would be more fun. What i really like in your game guys, it's because everyone have the same chance, and purely based on luck. But LL have those charms, and boost, what i call legal cheating for a reason. I just can't stand those boost. Not because i have no money for it, but it's because entirely ruin the enjoyment of the game.

Imo- I think they NEED a story update. Like it honestly has been so boring to play this game, I feel like all they’ve done is just events, events, events. It’s been (I think) Two YEARS before since Atlanthian City part 2 dropped and I want to get back into this game. I really do. But I think they’re ruining the game by doing all these events. And don’t get me wrong, I’m sure they’re busy with something (hopefully 🤞) and I’m also sure that it takes a while to code and model everything. But TWO YEARS??? I think at least one story update shoulda been released, hell even at least a new route.

Fun? FUN?! You have fun to finding gamma roamings? I doubt it. I highly doubt it. I play 4 years constantly, and it's not fun at all. Seeing how everyone others get MY dream loomian is everything just not fun. Soft resetable gamma is a wonderful idea. It means a small spark of hope, i got my dream loomian what i want. And don't need to sell my kidney for one.

It's not common enough to have a gamma of them. I play 4 years as an f2p, and still no gamma roam for me.

I don't think a roam turn off would be a good idea. I do agree there's more than enough event roams (5 HW, 5 Xmas and Cosmiore), which is quite a lot, and if they keep adding them there's gonna be a point where 30% of the loomipedia is just roams, and it'd make the 'hunting for the specific one' even harder for new or returning players. Now going back to the roam turn off, yes, it's not fun encountering the soft reset roam you don't want, but it's also not fun encountering the same 2 or 3 everytime either. And it'd be bad specially for the devs to let everyone just hunt for the same 3-4 roams since they'll stop hunting way faster, and of course that affects them. "Oh but they have to think of the players and blah blah blah". Yeah, but they also need their bread. I believe the chance to get something you don't want is what differentiates LL from the other capturing games like DW or ToT with chaining. People like to gamble for a reason, right? It helps the devs money-wise and some (not everyone, but still some) like that. With chains you just hunt what you want to hunt and when you're done you just leave, and it's not LL's thing, y'know? Anyways, sorry for the yapping, I'm just bored and wanted to type this out idk

And just for that "some" player, who idiotically spend their money, sorry, WASTE their money on a fricking game, just to gamble, f2p players suffer the most. This isn't supposted to be a full time job, instead a hobby. Or if they want a full time job, why they doing on roblox? Easier to throw on Playstores, or make the game entirely p2w. I am sure about something. I will not feed them with my hard working money until they don't fix the odds in the game, to more f2p friendly. They just don't deserve it anymore.
