That’s the same speech I’ve had to tell all my clients when I ran out of money during an engineering effort.

It must be nice to work somewhere that doesn't mind learning from failure. Unfortunately most organisations DON'T work this way in my experience. With razor-thin margins in so many businesses, failure is often not appreciated.

Peter Hamilton you are largely correct. However, in most large companies with a bit of a forward looking vision, there are innovation centers with the same principle. People tend to confuse operational failure with R & D failure. Companies tolerate the second but not the first although to varying degrees.

Many people will indeed just keep doing what they've been doing until they literally are forced to do something else. And then they'll still keep doing it. Look for a company willing to do things different. If not, you are or will become one of those people unwilling to try doing things differently.

Loving what x does as a company and the culture they share. But it's not always easy for everyone to attempt after failing as many of us just have limited resources so winning is everything in the first go

It can always be at a smaller scale. And it might mean pulling extra hours to make it happen.

Whenever I hear standardized new age music on a propaganda video like this, I think Silicon Valley "make the world a better place" bullshit.
