It's so fulfilling to see someone giving the deserved appreciation that the 1/3 unit deserves. To me, this subunit is the most musically interesting and outstanding in Loona. Oec has my kind of sound, but 1/3 music makes me think and feel so much. You can see how much work they put in the composition of every single song. Having ⅓ as the first unit was both risky and wonderful. They’re so musically interesting, but their songs aren’t always for everyone. Still, Sonatine remains as one of my favourite songs ever, because it’s so moving. As for what’s next, if you want to do a crack, I’d recommend one from Rap no no no, but I’m not sure which. Or you could check out the So What dance practice, because you’d said you were interested in seeing that. The others are definitely worth it too, so if you have time (or it’s just for another week), Butterfly and Why Not are also great They have dance practices for some b-sides, but the audio for them isn’t on the same level as the album itself, so those would probably be for later on Once again, watching you discover Loona like this is so wonderful. It’s honestly crazy how good their music is, from the solos, to the subunits, to the whole group. I’m so glad you’ve discovered them and taken the time to see more of what they have!

Your expressions in sonatine and rain 51db were GOLDEN and also relatable, as rain51db came on i was like 'lol what if this is gonna be fifi's fave??' and it WAS. Also it is db for decibels, I'm like 99% sure. This is my fav unit musically (and personality wise), and I'm so happy you loved them too, and I agree their voices just mix perfectly. Every unit is a vocal legend but 1/3 man... Love&live might be my fave song from loona, it was my third most listened song on spotify last year and I only started listening to it in september lmao. I feel like every time I listen i hear something new, its an overshadowed song in terms of the appreciation it gets but i adore it :(. And as for sonatine and rain51db... like you said, we just KNOW how good they are. It is impossible not to be obsessed. It gets me a little emotional to look back at the early days of Loona and how sooooo extremely talented each one of them are and how their team concept was soo ambitious (never been done before). Prior to "So What" comeback, Loona/BBC were in a financial dispute and the future of Loona was uncertain. So glad they weathered that storm and are continuing to thrive.

51db = 5.1 Dolby Surround Sound. The whole video is kind of an homage to very early MTV. The blown out colors, the scrolling text, even the frame rate were all indicative of early MTV and music videos of the time. Why 51db? Because MTV was the first channel to offer 5.1 Dolby, way back in the day.

First time I heard Love & Live, I loved it. So I had to play this for 3 of my co-workers, just to give them a little piece of music history, and they were all like "ok? wtf is this". Well atleast a guy who walked pass our gathering thought it was cool :) All the chordchanges in this song is so sick. I always love the transition of Haseul goddess nasal voice to Heejin goddess deep voice to Hyunjin's uniquely airy idk-its-weird-in-a-good-way voice (or maybe I just don't know what it's called) and Vivi's cute adlibs. I dunno I like the combination of each subunit's vocals like how I love Gowon's rapping in between lines in yyxy but 1/3 is my favorite combination. Yes, Sonatine, one of my favorite from LOONA. It's giving me Studio Ghibli vibes 😁 And I love the realistic outdoorsy shots of LOONA 1/3 MVs with all those apartment buildings and neon lights.
