So as you know BBC just loves torturi... I mean giving us many symbolism when it comes to Loona and nothing epitomizes that more than OEC's Girl Front MV. In this video, I share the things I've discovered and what I think some of them means. Please note this is my first video of this kind so I apologize if it's not very good.

One thing that I noticed was that Choerry is upside down - so are bats most of the time

Yes! And that's something a lot of people missed in Love Cherry Motion. Right after the end of that first beat drop, after the short bat visual, the camera flashes to the cute version Choerry, but she's laying on a bed with her head upside down and her eyes closed, much like a bat.

I think the girl throwing the airplane is Hyunjin, Choerry's mirror image, since Hyunjin was throwing airplanes in Let Me In as well.

I saw a theory that there are two choerry, one is a mirror image. I think the one with the mobius strip/ and an odd eye is the upside down choerry. Then the human choerry is on earth, the one with haseul and yeojin in LCM. Kimlip and Jinsoul can both activate their odd eye anytime they want to, but in Choerry’s case she can only do it when she ate the cherry.(or maybe only at first, just to wake up her odd eye) maybe she didnt know she had a power and jinsoul and kimlip planned to activate it. Jinsoul in the Teaser placed the cherry in the cake And Kimlip was the one holding the mirror, to get the attention of choerry and guide her to the mirrors in LCM In Girl front the 3girls of ODDEYE are in earth in search for 1/3 In idol radio, choerry said that Odd eye members can freely go to both earth and eden

Sofia Schmitz I saw a theory that the other cherry is actually Hyunjin leading cherry to the other OEC girls, basically since purple and yellow are complementary they are each other’s equals so she can distinguish Hyunjin from herself, so Hyunjin uses the mirror to catch cherrys attention and help her find the other girls. Also with the whole paper airplane thing, the first cherry had a mirror that so that indicates it’s Hyunjin passing a map to actually cherry. It’s all kinda complicated but also pretty cool

Also I just gotta say I love Loonaverse concept. They could have just as easily been released as solo artists and then formed into a group without the lyrical and mv referencing, but having that added to the mix really appeases my geeky side as I have something to obsess over beyond the music itself. Loona is the Marvel Cinematic Universe of K-Pop!

Daebak Jjang I have a theory supporting yours why they are looking for Hyunjin first. You said that Yerim can duplicate herself like a mirror image and travel through dimensions. In Hyunjin's mv Around You, you can see that in the end there were multiple catheads/hyunjins implying that she can multiply herself but cannot travel through dimensions. So yeah they're looking for her to make the search of the others even faster. I hope my theory wasn't too much of a reach :')))

If you slow down the music video when you see the trucks wheel you can see its driving in snow. But when the camera zooms out you see its in the desert. So I'm pretty sure its the same truck as the one in Haseul's Let Me In. I love Loona and i'm so excited to see more of their videos that they release in the future!

Remembering that Jinsoul was in ViVi's Every Day I Need You mv before Kim Lip's and her own solo AND mostly seen from behind, it could mean that she's been searching for members before the Eclipse. The LOONA 1/3 members and Yeojin have been around the world, while Kim Lip and Jinsoul have been in creepy abandoned places. Choerry was at Jeju Island, but even she found herself in an abandoned building. Now Odd Eye Circle have found each other in LA! And they're going to search for the remaining 4 members of LOONA! God I love theorizing!

if you look at the loonatic mv they show the stickers more clearly. the blue one is a fish in a tank, the red one is an apple which i think represents yves, the new girl. the white one is a bat in front of a moon i think and then yeojins frog is next to the :)

I only just noticed but.. The desert setting with the yellow truck is the opposite/flip side of HaSeul's icy mountain+yellow truck setting. Maybe that's why the paper plane references were in Let Me In. And Choerry dropped the crystals (as mentioned in LCM: she was wearing the crystal earrings in her dance scene with LipSoul which she then(?) broke off and sent to HaSeul) throughout LMI to lead her to the girls. Yes the mobius strip is confusing much like this video! Here's a bunch of explanation that I gathered online about the mobius strip that pertains to this MV: The Mobius strip is famous because it has only one side and one edge. While the original piece of paper clearly had two sides, the Mobius strip has just one. The Mobius strip is known for its unusual properties. A bug crawling along the center line of the loop would go around twice before coming back to its starting point. When you look closely at a Mobius strip, you'll see that it would be impossible to paint it with two different colours. Perhaps it's the possibility of traveling indefinitely in a loop along a Mobius strip that makes some people associate the Mobius strip with the concept of infinity. Perhaps that's also why the lemniscate symbol for infinity resembles a Mobius strip! So if you relate those things things to the video, many of its elements start to make sense!

this moebius strip theory doesn't let me rest. it's just so simple, yet very weird and fascinating so i made one myself out of paper and didn't cut it in 1/2 to see what happens, but like a 1/3 width along what happens is, you get yet another small moebius strip attached to a larger double twisted moebius strip. and if you do the exact same thing with these 2 again, you get 3 normal moebius strips all knotted together that have the same size. to sum it up, after all of this you have the 3 worlds (real, mirror & oec) separated, yet still connected with identical size/power it's so weird, but maybe a clue for the whole loona theory thing :)

Great video, two things I believe nobody mention, the color of the glow on their eyes correspond to their individual color, they use that color on their outfit; also some cassette players could play both sides, but that does not mean they play backwards, they play the other side of the cassette.

i think maybe the reason oec keep seeing themselves in different times is to represent the möbius. the möbius makes it so that the loonaverse is in a constant time loop, and since oec represents the twist, it would make sense why they 'run' (haha get it... like how oec and 1/3 keep running) away and end up in the same place as before. also jinsoul is seen wearing a blue möbius strip band during her rap and other parts of the mv. anyways, great video!

Ok I’m gonna say it. I think Hyunjin was in or will be in ODD EYE CIRCLE at some point. Choerry may be her replacement. There is a small bit of yellow in the moon near the end of the MV 8:57. The red and purple blend perfectly but the purple and blue have yellow between them. Hyunjin and yellow are constantly referenced in ODD MVs. (Yellow truck, only outside girl to do a look behind pose, yellow Eclipse animation in Loonatic on the word moon, her hug with Choerry in High Hi). In the Hi High original choreo right before OEC starts dancing the 1/3 girls strike a pose. Hyunjin points to her left eye. There has to be something to the primary colours, why Choerry is special (the other tertiary colours are in her MV as well) and why she keeps being referenced. Also Kim Lip looks like she’s waiting near the beginning. She also seems to control the cassette player. I think she knows they are in a loop as she keeps looking behind and seeing herself (possibly since Eclipse ending but for sure by the end of this MV). She could also be chasing herself as referenced in the animation in Girl Front. The other girls communicate with themselves, Kim Lip is running from herself. Her and Yves also point a gun in a similar manner and to similar effect (This MV and Hi High choreo) Whew! Had to get that all out somewhere

ok i was about to mention about them wearing the Mobius strip/ bracelet but you just did it in the end so... lol anyways, I have also been theorizing Loona and their mvs for a while now but just did it all 3 years before and 1 year before their debut and all the girls weren't even introduced yet! My theory is the girl circling around OEC is Hyunjin? i mean, it does make sense cuz she is the only other girl other than OEC in the mv and there are references to Loona 1/3 here and there too.. Plus I think she is wearing the same shirt Hasel was wearing in LCM. and yes there are a lot of references from all the 3 girl's solo mv's too!

OEC is the most aware of the groups, followed by yyxy, followed by 1/3. the fact that they can travel across planets is probably why Choerry marked the 1/3 girls on the map (actually its probably because she was looking for them cause remember in LCM they are HER friends). The addition of the mobius strip bracelet shows that they are aware of the loop, which is elaborated when they loop themselves at the end. Also at the end, the scenes play in a reverse order, but not in reverse; when the girls loop, they are frightened because they are trying to break it so they can unite LOONA, but you can't unite an incomplete group.

I don't know if it was ever mentioned, but I think it's a fun fact to denote that the location of the yellow truck, first in Haseul's video, and then in Girl Front, the environments are opposite. They are both deserts, but in Let Me In, it's a cold, desolate place, whereas in Girl Front it's a hot desert. You can even see in the split second at 3:56 when it zooms in on the rim of the tire to the zoomed out view of the truck, it's traveling in the snowy area of Haseul's video before being shown in the desert, using the same effect that is used when Jinsoul teleport from one place to the next.

The girl at the ferris wheel wasn't another Choerry, it was Hyunjin! Choerry was searching for the Loona 1/3 members, and put a sticker on the ferris wheel location because that's where she saw Hyunjin (the mirror was shone on her face at that location, which is what Hyunjin does to get Choerrys attention in the Love Cherry Motion MV).

TBH I think Jinsoul was looking for the 2 members while Choerry and Kim Lip were looking for Jinsoul, but all they found was their other self, maybe a clone? But I think the other versions of themselves are trying to find their originals because they have something they need. When they looped near the end of the video, I think their other clone/s (/s for Kim Lip) were repeating each other. As for the map, I think the mirrors in Choerry's LCM were the worlds where the other members where, hence the map having all the mirrors leading to where all the members are. Then, they all find each other and that's basically their debut.

Just to add to the madness when Kim Lip is doing the "shooting" motion at herself, Choerry does that same gesture in the choreography version of Love Cherry Motion around minute 2:34 or so. I had to back it up like 3 times to make sure I wasn't seeing things.

Did you guys noticed that the map gone missing in the end? Choerry is the conection between 1/3 and ODD, so she has the map and is trying to get everyone together. Now she has found her subunit and then they can find the next members, maybe the next girl ( the shadow ), dont want them to found the others.

And i see a lot of people saying that the orange cat is not Hyujin cuz they already have a black cat steaker in the map, but if you watch Hyunjin solo mv you can see clearly that exactly same cat. Plus, when Choerry sees the ferris wheel she puts the orange cat steaker in the map, so makes even more sense. idk

A friend of mine said that they were trying to "connect the dots" to get to Loona 1/3 (freakin brilliant) but first they had to unite with themselves....? Choerry's video introduced the alternate world thing so it looks as if they're running with that theme.

The Choerry she sees after she is blinded is Hyunjin, her mirror image! Hyunjin wants the girls to be brought into the Loonaverse, so she is doing everything she can to bring OEC together. The yellow truck... Remember that the yellow truck brought Haseul into the Loonaverse? Hyunjin brought Choerry here and she is trying to unite them.
