As a Vivi stan, I can relate to this entire video lmao. But, this comeback also blessed with the masterpiece that is Oh (Yes I Am)’s line distribution + Vivi’s rap and Haseul’s lines. It’s really worth reacting to if you have the time. PS: The white feathers were a dedication to Haseul.

The theme of the song is to walk your own path, accepting yourself even if it isn't the usual thing. The beginning, where the line goes, 'do not accept the fate of the moon,' means don't be stuck in a predictable orbit. Even if people call you 'bad', so what?

SM went OFF on this production. He didn't produce any of Red Velvet's music last year, nor did he produce EXO's Obsession; Jopping was the last thing he personally worked on i think... so I'm thinking this is the kinda vibe he's aiming for with his new girlgroup, and that terrifies me in the best possible way. I love how the SM trademark lyrical bridge was utilised in this song though. Beautiful vocals being shown off, and the perfect breather the song needed from the intensity of the first verses and choruses.
