You know the MF vibes! LOONA really has a niche/nerd alt cool aspect to them. I'm a bit protective of their previous discography and a bit fearful since their release of "So What" (that said, I like nearly every other song on #, since it has this late 80s/early 90s J-Pop/funk style).

Ah I feel like I ghost wrote this. Seriously, I find absolutely zero fault with the vivid - XX discography. Even the less popular b-sides like Frozen - yyxy are actual masterpieces. The layering the atmospheric tone... I could rave about all of them. Day & Night on # is also rather incredible, and ages so damn well.

It's not quite old loona standard production wise but it's fun and authentic imo. few companies are willing to prioritize art over commercial success. As an orbit, i will support the title tracks that eventually grow on me (Butterfly was an immediate love, and So What Bridge was my favorite part) but the bsides is where it's at for me. Number 1 was my favorite of # because it was so purely Loona. Also I'm a sucker for late 80s synth pop sounding grooves.

Girl Front is one of the biggest videos of the Loona lore. This is where we learn that Jinsoul can teleport and Kim Lip has extraordinary running speed. They recruit Choerry, who's just a normal earth girl to travel to the other 2 worlds to unite Loona. Throughout the entire video they map out their strategy to find the other girls.

Sweet Crazy Love is one of the best LOONA songs honestly. I have never gotten tired of it, never skipped. The couple seconds of silence THEN the song actually kills me, so good. Here’s a small breakdown of what you can kinda expect from the solos/units music wise: Loona 1/3 (Heejin, Hyunjin, Haseul, Yeojin, Vivi) (Yeojin isn’t in the sub unit but she’s grouped in there since she’s by herself but also not, it’s complicated) - They’re more bright and bubbly, with some ballads mixed in. All their songs sound like they’re picked straight out of a Disney movie. Loona Odd Eye Circle (Kim Lip, Jinsoul, Choerry) : More synth based funk, their music feels very spacey and dreamlike while also making you want to dance. Loona YYXY (pronounced y y by y) (Yves, Chuu, Gowon, Olivia Hye) - Their music is hard to describe, it’s not as peppy as 1/3’s music, but it still is, and there’s always a sinister undertone to it, but also quite emotional.... again it’s such a unique feeling...

STAN LOONA!!! odd is my fave unit, first album I owned cause this whole unit released ONLY bangers! The synth-pop is strong in this unit, and I always love seeing someone going through it! Snakery at its finest! Maybe check out the whole album of this unit in your own time, they have this very distinctive sound you seem to enjoy, and you won't really find it in the rest of the group! (or at least not exactly like this, cause each sub unit had a different concept and sound to it)

At last count, LOONA had 33, MV's plus the new one coming up. Unless KZbin search has done me dirty, you've reacted to 7. That leaves 26 MV's plus albums. Unless you want to turn your channel into "All LOONA, all the time", it's going to take at least a few months to get through all that. And I'm good with that.
