Man that part where Daffy says 'Don't be so nieve buster everyone knows it's really Duck Season' and as he's walking away at least nearly a dozen hunters appear out of nowhere and start blasting him before disappearing again was freaking hilarious as it reminded me of that episode where Daffy took Bugs to a t.v. show at gunpoint only for Bugs to pull the old switcheroo and poor old Daffy gets blasted in the exact same way only instead of bullets he spits out a handful of blanks.

I these cartoons are the best ever, this level of cartoons was the mount everest of cartoons and it went down hill afterwards. The older cartoons I believe were made for adults. Just about everything about them was aimed for adults. I enjoyed as a kid but I understood them more when I grew up.

I love how in Rabbit Seasoning, Bugs Bunny's main gag he uses to trick Daffy and Elmer is the line, "Would you like to shoot me now or wait 'til you get home?" He uses this line twice, and it works both times in tricking Elmer to shoot Daffy. Daffy will have probably learned not to fall for the trick the 3rd time, and Bugs knows this. So the 3rd time he changes the line to one that leaves no loopholes: "Would you like to shoot _him_ here or wait 'til you get home?" No matter what Daffy does, either now or later, he will get shot. It's subtle, but genius.
