During the game I was thinking Martinez is a second choice striker for Inter but he would easily start as a number 9 for this Arsenal team. How have we left ourself short in arguably one of the most important positions on the pitch. All the other stats to the side there’s only one that counts in the end and that’s goals scored. These players aren’t scoring enough goals and there’s no other options bc either the manager was too cocky in the transfer window and thought what he had was enough, let’s just sign Sterling and not even use him. Or the owners didn’t provide the funds needed to sign one of the strikers that were available. Either way it’s a failure and it’s costing us now. This has been the worst we have looked in years.
