I think it’s worth to mention, that on the website it says that the dream version kinda wears off after around 100 nights, because of the foam-rubber mix used in the product, so you need to buy new one/replace them with another tip.
@elizawbu5722Ай бұрын
does it actually wear off like is there a noticeable difference after ~100 days?
@hucelot0Ай бұрын
@ I can’t tell you from my experience, since I didn’t order it, but from what I read it does matter and with time it becomes useless, maybe not in a hundred nights, but a dozen more, but eventually you will have to swap the tips
@bubba101010Ай бұрын
Oh wow! I don’t like that. I’ll stick to my Quiet 2 then. I mean, maybe I should just go with the pink foam cheapies from the drug store instead. I wonder how the dream compares to those 😉.
@mimimartins27 күн бұрын
where does it say that? it only states that if youre unhappy with your purchase you have 100 days to return but i cant read any info about the longevity of the item. Plus 100 days is only 3 months so that wouldnt make much sense?
@hucelot027 күн бұрын
@@mimimartins quoting from their original website, first from the FAQ under loop dream “Loop earplugs are made from durable, hypoallergenic silicone and memory foam, delivering high-quality noise reduction that's guaranteed to last up to 100 nights.” Then you can also see a note at accessories/Dream silicone ear tips “It’s recommended to change your Loop Dream ear tips every 100 nights for optimal performance and hygiene.” Other than that I’ve used foam ear plugs before, they all wear out by time since they are really soft and just won’t block out as much noise as before. Here it’s not entirely foam but should be the same eventually.

Glad to hear. Watched your Loop quiet 2 review and was dissapointed that it's not good for side sleepers and then Loop comes out with a new Dream version designed SPECIFICALLY for side sleeperes. Even though it's 50$ it will still be worth it if it gives me a good night sleep

@@_Curiosity_ Glad you watched my previous review. Yes, these are definitely much much better for side sleepers. I don’t even know I have them and I don’t wake up with sore ears. Make sure you find the right eartip size.

really helpful - but what would you rate them both out of 10? (despite the Quiet ones designed for napping not fully sleeping) and i saw alot of complaints on their website about the rubber tips coming off the memory foam core when you take them out your ear - is this happening for you?

I need to get a new cable for my main mic, which I have on an arm. This one just sounds better when I am holding it in front of me. I don’t really like the sound when it is on my clothing + I have to put down my necklace, which I don’t want to do 🥺

@ That makes sense, and thanks for posting your video review. Like you, I already have a Quiet 2. I will stick with them for the time being. As someone mentioned in the comments, the Dream is only advertised as being good for 100 uses! I think that’s absurd considering their price. I wonder if you might post a review update in the future should your current Dream earplugs wear out! I appreciate the directness of many of the thoughts you share in your videos. Keep going!

I'll check these out. Thank you! (Do they make you miss the alarm clock? 😊)
@dielenka2 ай бұрын
No, no worries about that 😃 the alarm clock is louder than what they block but I would definitely try it out before so you know if the alarm still wakes you up 😃 If not, you can still get a smart watch or something that would wake you up by vibration

You hardly talked about noise reduction, the whole reason for this product existing
@dielenkaАй бұрын
@@AN-uf5vg I talked about it reducing ~27dB. I am talking from a users perspective. The biggest issue with the Quiet 2 Plus was how uncomfortable they were for side sleepers. I never had an issue with them not reducing enough sound, that’s why I focused on other aspects more. I don’t see an issue with that.
