so in order to loop infinitely we need to have a map that will never spawn monsters as eventually they will overcome us as they scale just ever so slightly faster than us, so we use a combination of the lightposts and villages in order to reduce monster spawns to 0 and have tiles that don't spawn monsters respectively. but we have to balance that with card income and taking a more loops (monsters scale on loop number) so we can establish this setup while maintaining card income. so there's a bunch of expired bookeries around the map on tiles that don't spawn monsters so I can recycle cards I don't want for cards I might want as we construct the map. the final part is we need to have ruins because ruins give us a random resource whenever we land on them so we surround them with lighthouses, as well as our spider colonies (for card advantage) in the later part of the setup we're doing. so now we have a map that we can construct before fighting the second boss on the max difficulty so we have no resource cap for what we can bring back to camp that will also let us traverse it infinitely so we can farm as many resources as we want. they may not be in the form we want but we have alchemy and a staggering amount of resources so we can more or less do w/e we want at this point back at camp. this will let me max my camp and craft items for different builds that are really optimized and fully break the game. the trick comes in where the game progresses toward bosses based on tile placements so you have to be efficient and build your infinite loop map while taking in the cards to build it without placing too many tiles. it's not too hard but it does take some game knowledge and a good path shape.
