I love describing these themes as the literal "Oh fuck" themes from this game, because it has been countless times that I've been placing tiles without thinking much of it, until the screen focuses on the camp, the boss tile appears an one of these 4 tracks start, it's that fight or flight moment that makes it so cool and an actual "OH FUCK" moment every time.

The difficulty curve of this game felt like it gets much easier at each Act. You figure out more of how the game works and attain more meta-progression. By the end the final boss theme felt like it was my theme. The first boss theme is the scariest for me.

Music gets super intense.. weird shit is going on.. and then I get brutally murdered. It made me way over prepare before fighting him again. Like i'd get resources and then retreat instead of trying to fight him lol.

I love how I thought that the first and final boss was always gonna be Omicron, because since the hero spoke of him first it would only make sense that he was the antagonist, but as I went on, I discovered there was some major fuckery going on.

I love playing games the first time without reading anything about it so I get the first hand experience. I remember the first time looping and all of a sudden "Lich Portal" starts playing with the thunder effect and at that moment I know I fxxx up

what you call Jojo references are Major Arcanas from the Tarot de Marseille, which are closely tied with fate as they were commonly used for Divination. Many games and other mediums (Jojo, among many others) uses them in several ways since they sound cool and can be used to represent many things.
