My parts just came in the mail for this. Ordered them after your past video! Looking forward to see how well it works

Awesome video Dan. BTW I won't take offense to being one of the "commercial" vendors lol

I found when using 75ohm cable and a 60-70foot circumference loop that a 3/10 winding worked best, that bumped the ratio to 1/11 or 75/825 ohm. It gave me better performance, along with adding a 1m Ohm to bleed the loop of static and pair of inverse diode on the coax side to kill any voltages that could be introduced from nearby transmitting antenna.

@spareiChan awesome info! I have more cores. I'll give this a shot. If it ends up being better than it already is..wow!

@@WD4DAN Might be worth it if you got the extra cores, I use the same one. my loop is about 70~ft of 12awg low voltage cable (2x wires) with about 100ft of RG6Q and a 20db LNA inside, gives the same signal level as my DX commander with a bit less noise.

When I watched the last video I read bunch of articles about the transformer setup. Great follow up video.

Eddie and I have some RG6 and connectors on the way. We’re getting ours together right now.

When I get done I’ll share my setup on my channel and give you a link and a shoutout.
