LOOP RODS On Natural Hair For Spiral Ringlet Curls

Hey you guys! One of my lovely followers showed me these Loop Rods and I had to try them out for you all. They are very similar to flexi rods, but you wrap your hair around it and then form a loop to secure it for a nice spiral curl. Watch to see me install these and what the finished result looks like! Let me start by saying, I think your hair came out cute and also that I realize this is an old video. Someone might have already mentioned this but just in case I thought you or the person who asked you to try them might like to know the reason they only come in such small sizes is because these are perm rods. They used to be what was always used on longer hair in the late 80's earlier 90's (at least in Arizona, I used to get spiral perms with them regularly.) I actually your found your video because I was looking for some of these to buy in order to do a spiral perm for my daughter. I personally don't care the look as well of a spiral that is done with regular perm rods when you have longer hair, plus these are much faster for wrapping when doing longer hair, but I think they got away from using them just because of the weight of them, as I'm sure you noticed a little with the 60 you used, so just imagine using them in shoulder blade length hair and having closer to 100 of them in, I could barely hold my head up, but oh well, the things we do for beauty. Am I right? Any way hope your doing well in this time of pandemic, and God Bless.

Lol. Mine were irritating me the whole time. They are fine if im doing a wash and go or twist out but this was too long lol. Usually maaliyah is in the room playing, watching a movie or running in and out of my room, and samiya is on the bed watching tv (shes smart and doesn’t go near the edge of the bed), or shes sleep, in her play pen or out crawling too 😭😭😭

I would not try this out. I prefer my hair curls to be bigger and looser than small and tight how these turned out. The hair styles looks sooo adorable thou.
