How to Trigger Program Changes in MainStage with Prime

I set up a separate midi device with the knob, button, and faders. My issue is when I press the buttons (while assigned that button to a function), it also sends a midi signal to play a note on my digital piano. How can I stop this?

Why can’t I find midi cue connection in Prime?

Go into Prime's settings, and if you are a subscriber of the Loop Pro Plus plan, you'll see the Midi Cues Connections window there.

I have the same question. Been tearing my hair out looking all over the internet trying to find instructions on how to set up my akai mpk261 to send program change commands to LPX. Seems like it has something to do with controller assignments and possibly the event list. I'm thoroughly confused though.

Currently using Prime App on an ipad, so I assume this type of functionality comes with the Prime App on a laptop. I'm leaning toward trying out Mainstage as a guitar rig (probably with either Sunday Sounds or Worship Essentials), and the ability to set up midi cues within songs to switch effects/patches from Prime would be terrific.

Can I control Propresenter and Mainstage at the same time?

If they are running on the same device, then this would be a possibility. If not, then you will not be able to unfortunately as Prime can only send cues to one destination at a time. Sorry for any trouble!

@@loopcommunity My keys player running mainstage and prime app on stage. Propresenter on sound booth. So no way I could send midi cues to mainstage and Propresenter?

@@ringoso8268 correct. Prime can only send MIDI to one other device at a time.
