Hi Matt, thanks so much for this fantastic content-it’s been incredibly helpful! I’ve tried implementing it in my app, but I’m struggling to get it to actually create the child records as expected. I’m not receiving any errors during setup, and everything seems to align with your instructions, but the app isn’t generating multiple child records when the status field in another table is updated. I’m wondering if I may have missed a detail or misunderstood a step. If you have any advice or could point me in the right direction, I’d really appreciate it.

Matt can we use this for creating order templates? Choose your supplier & presto your order list is made from the related items. Perhaps you can have the most commonly ordered items auto generated & the ability to search the related items for a less frequently ordered item?

Hey Matt, Would this principle work for a recurring meeting setup? For instance currently I have an action loop setup to create multiple child record meetings based on a parent record meeting creation. It fires off and creates child records until the date reaches the end date set in the parent. So it's parentdate+7, child1date+7,child2date+7 etc What would an API setup look like for this? I suppose my question boils down to, as the API loops through the rows can it reference the row just created?

Similar question here. I want to set up recurring events, so when a user adds an event, they will choose the day of the week that it occurs, then set the frequency, and a start and end date. I then want the system to populate separate events for all of the selected weekdays within the start and end date.

@@Londoneryid Did you ever get yours working. I have exactly the same functionality I'm trying to build. Have table for building the Recurring events. Process bot is to run everyday based on a filtered slice for only 'todays' events to be scheduled. This is then used to create a new ticket in a Ticket table for each of the Recurring events, then update the Recurring document with the next start date. Tried everything to get this bot to work with no success. I believe it's just in the syntax as I always get a Error 400

@@randy1211 I managed to do it, not with daily running bots, but with actions and a loop that runs when adding a recurring event to a separate table. It's a bit complicated to explain here, but the way I did it is with a loop, an action that adds +1 to a date column after each entry and a condition that checks that the date isn't after the set end date on the recurring event.

For the less-technical audience, this video isn't clear enough or adequately definitive - you did not demonstrate your example actually works. I'm sure you have a variation that does... why didn't you show that version? 90% isn't good enough to provide value and be an authoritative source. All the distracting stuff on your walls, lighting and personality don't make up for a lack of thoroughly, simply and definitively demonstrating the process.
