Well articulated speech that is non-biased, based on facts and delivered eloquently. Dr Laino is the future of this government. Slowly these recycled, underperforming MPs will be phased out. I see a bright future for the people of Wabag and the country through this young leader.

An educated mind answering the question with confidence because he had already looked into the needs of the project before the questions. That's is the kind of a leader our people need in this country to deliver services and major projects on time and budget.

Member for Abau, I hope you heard Dr. Lino's last statement. In order for money to be disbursed from the public purse from next year's budget, money has to come in from somewhere. Minister for Fisheries shows that he has control of his department, and is on top of it all. Dr. Lino is doing well in his district as well. MP for Abau what will be your legacy? Han mak blong yu em stap we????

This is how Ministers are supposed to answer questions. Dr Lino has provided the numbers with regard to the current status of Tuna fisheries in the country, emphasized on the need of Tuna capital investments and the potential sustainable direct revenue that this investment would provide based on facts (evident in other countries such as Thailand). He then stated the reasons to why this project had not eventuated and before concluding he briefly presented the progress towards rising funds for this project . Excellent Feedback Minister! Utterly BRILLIANT! PNG needs more Ministers like Dr Lino.

Dr. Tom Lino you are stating the reality about renewable resources, I am pleased that you spoke that clearly on the floor of Parliament. My thoughts is that Extractive industries had done great but had also indirectly made us "lazy (both physically and psychologically)" towards seeing the real long term sustainable resources that needs more and more attention including crops, timbers, fisheries and tourism. All of this sectors being phased right down to downstream processing together with assistance from respectful extractive industries, PNG will go into another dimension economically.

Dr. Lino Tom is currently the most performing Leader in the Parliament. As a first timer, he has delivered more than 120 different types of services to his local district Wabag. The people of Wabag calls him King and their savior. He is also a GOD fearing man. There's no need to ask such stupid question to him as he's outperforming all the old dogs in the House. We need such vibrant Leaders in our country. Please people of PNG, I ( an Eagan) appeal to you all to support Dr. Lino and tell the people of Wabag through any social medias that you can so that Dr. Lino can retain his seat in the coming election 2022. Thank you. PNG for Change.

Good response from Dr Lino. In most occasions, respondents respond as if its a debate to score point but not with Dr. Lino. He acknowledge the question and respect Richard Maru's seniority which good. Abau MP should just sit and listen if you have nothing important to contribute. You are paid to sit there and you must do. Rush lo go we? Everyone knows you are an underperforming MP dragging people of Abau.

Simple and smart response by Minister NFA. Tuna and other vital marine resources like sea cucumber with revenue generating potential are worthy of investing in their development infrastructure. Renewable resources of this country needs more care and attention. Its time our government should borrow to invest rather than borrow to spend.

NFA should open up for a Business arm of the Mamose Ptovincial Governments by the Mamose Governors Council Secretariat to participate in the Fishing vessels and cannery joint venture as Resource owners. A large portion of tuna is caught along the Bidmark and Dampier straiths. There are also fish canneries in East Sepik Madang and Morobe. Mamose people should obtain maximum benefits to compensate from the large tuna stock that is harvested from their seas.

Wow when a young performing Minister provides facts and figures to respond intelligently to a brilliant question regarding one of PNG's greatest revenue potential on the floor of parliament, it is so deflating to see an unjustified point of order from the Hon. Temu. A big contrast!

A deplorable point of order by Dr. Puka Temu. The tonality of his interjection echos the typical "tall poppy syndrome" virus that is rampant in Papuans. Dr. Lino Tom is outshining him hence the Papuan jealous virus wakes up. Papuans, wake up and kill this "let us all be miserable/unproductive instead of supporting someone who, by his/her innovativeness, would otherwise create jobs, etc. in our community" virus.
