Question if I may... I notice how extremely difficult it is to create an eye-catching graphical "game" menu using only C++ and some graphical framework such as SDL2, etc. It's far EASIER, to create a game menu in HTML, styling it with CSS, and the only headache you have to deal with is DISPLAY FLEX. I've created game menu's in HTML, but is it possible to incorporate the two together? It's such a pain having to deal with windows, surfaces (CPU), textures (GPU), etc, just to place a picture in the center of the screen. That an the fact that "console" menu's are far more easier, and forgiving, than trying to send text and get input from a graphical menu.
