Yeah. I honestly don't think he was the original killer. I think he was just a blogger who did a lot of in-depth research, was able to find out that the couple had a child, and just put two and two together to figure out the child was her. He wanted her story. But I could be wrong. I think she just snapped, and started killing people on the tour who bothered her. :-)

I was gonna say the same thing. Dude was definitely giving predator vibes but nothing said he was the killer. He didn't admit it or give away he knew anything more. She suffered trauma probably as the "loose end" of such a horrifying crime and when someone either reminds her of it or acts like a predator, she snaps, becoming the monster herself.

I really do think he was innocent, cause there really are weird people way into macabre stuff like that. I feel like she does this to every one of these weirdos as long as they're an older white male matching what she knows about the guy. Him knowing about her isn't even that big of a tell as you might think. If it's one of the most famous murders in Texas history, the sole survivor might end up being known, and with some research you can find out about her, especially if she's leaving information as bait to try and get the killer to come back. So yeah in the end, from my perspective, this is just a sad story of a traumatized little girl growing up to become a serial killer too.

I don’t think he was the killer. I think he was just an Asshole who wanted that for his blog. He likely runs some type of blog about killers. He could have easily got that info from police reports and a little investigation. He didn’t even fight back. If it hadn’t ended with the the watches in the box I would think he could possibly be the killer. But I feel the director put that there purposefully to show you that she’s been killing multiple dudes and she seen them all as the killer coming back as she was traumatized. I don’t feel bad for the dude though. He bullied his way to his death lol..

I don't think he was the killer. I think he was a blogger that took it too far, acting all creepy for content. What he "knew" wouldn't have been that hard to find out. They had a daughter. The daughter was there at the time. The parents having sex. That would've all come out from an investigation of the crime. He couldn't been a police officer at the time. Press. Someone who knew someone with knowledge of the case.
