this is one of the boxes I'd have loved to have! the leaf artwork is amazing. I actually thought at first it's a fairy when you had it faced the other way :D cold-riddled brain was very confused :D

i think you made an absolutely fantastic representative of the materials, the shading and nuances in the leaf are just stunning. Mr. Danni said it would be a rather lovely postcard, it really is great! A very enjoyable cave ♥ I feel like i would be far too intimidated by loose pigments to do anything with this box, so your go was 100x more admirable to me 😂

I absolutely LOVE these kinds of dry pigments! They are so much fun to play with. They are the watercolor equivalent of fireworks! Good job Scrawlrbox! They have been lagging lately and this one more than makes up for it! Love the leaf you really gave it life, it looks like you managed to capture it mid flight!

Love what you created with that box, Gem! I struggled with the wayward nature of those watercolour flakes but they are very pretty. Also, thank you for your kind comments on my gallery picture - I drew it from a photo I took when I was on holiday in Scotland last year at a place called Cockburnspath. I really enjoyed those supplies.

Sarky miss, I almost choked on my dinner (yes the noon meal one 🤣 ) at that "front room" comment! I absolutely loved watching you doing this one, I do like Brusho as well, which is a similar thing, I find the advice of using a pin to make a few holes in the top of the bottle, helps with distribution! Love this Leaf Fairy outcome ❤

Oh my goodness I absolutely love the supplies and I'm going to try to find them. I love the painting that you did and would absolutely kill to have a copy of that to put in my house. I love the colours, but they're so darn messy! I got the powder on my plastic table cloth and discovered a dry-ish paste of salt will remove the stain really well! I love the painting. The leaf looks like a fairy from different angles. 😊

Hello Gem, it's been a while, I gave up on scrawlr, sketch box, and upcreate because I got tired of having to go to the post office to collect my boxes from them. I started with resin kits that actually get delivered to my front door instead of lazy mail people who don't want to climb stairs 🙄

You're painting is beautiful! Don't know how you managed, if it was me I think I would end up with powder everywhere 🤣 My first waterbrush was a pack of four of those Derwent and I love them, I think the water control is great, to be fair don't use the big one (the one in the box) a lot, use it more as a pipette when I need a few drops of water then anything else 😂 but like the other ones. I got the kuretake zig ones (everyone seems to like them) and I still feel more water control with the Derwent, but to be honest never thought about mold, always put them away wet, no issues until now, fingers crossed it doesn't happen.
