Loose Talk - a show that was probably loved by nearly everyone, there's no surprise that Moeen Akhtar and Anwer Maqsood made sure that their audience would stay glued to their TV screens, unable to control their hard and loud laughing fits. The two legends would sit together and talk about various social issues of our society. The idea behind Loose Talk was to educated people in a humorous way that just made the entire show incredible.

Urdu is an Indian language, if you look at censor certificates of older Bollywood movies from 60s and 70s, a lot are listed as being in urdu. Its was a common language in northern India in the UP region.

@@awinis - Not really an Indian language, but belonging to Indo-Iranian, themselves a branch of the Indo-European language family. Further, Urdu is an offshoot of "Hindustani" language. The first Mughals in North India spoke Turkic-Persian. Later when the Mughals established themselves in the Indian subcontinent, a new language came into existence. It was called Hindustani and it had Arabic/Persian/Hindi syntax. This language was widely spoken until the British arrived. Somehow a new language "Udru" evolved during the British era. The language is probably 65/35 percent Persian/Hindi syntax. Many Brits also spoke Urdu. If you hear *high literary Urdu in Pakistan* (On TV talk shows or interviews), as a Hindi speaking Indian, you won't understand almost 40% of the vocabulary. Obviously, Loose Talk is not a high literary show, and in this interview the guest is mostly speaking in the Urdu/Punjabi dialect.
