So sweet of your Mum to support you in such a beautiful and helpful way. Just now discovered your site and jumped right in…..love this approach! The blank white page is always so intimidating to a new painter, and I bet also to some very experienced ones. So this dive right in method is brilliant. What a cool thing now that I’m a parent trying to sort my kids into a future mindset!! Anyway, don’t be intimidated by any canvas. I always tell students to just makes the first mark. The rest will follow and everything is fixable !!!

Hey Aly! Sorry about your headaches, those clusters can be nasty! New Sub here. Pushing 70 and Karma brought me to you! Love what you are doing! I am no painter , but am giving it a go. This trying to be correct and perfect is making things difficult for me and your “loosening up“ technics are perfect for fixing it. After all, if you‘re not having fun doing it, then whats the use. Its a bit difficult not trying to make it more realistic when finished though. I like the idea of giving a time limit in drawing and perhaps also in the painting - or is that better not timing 🧐🤔🤭. Thank you so much! Stay healthy! Lynda💕

@@alyharte488 i Like head angle of the last video of Manhattan. I can see better what you are doing on the canvas.I really like your color mixing videos. Also some teaching on how to make warm and cool colours would be good. I like your videos because there are short enough to practice every day.If you can make a series of daily floral practise or daily practise for one one object like a vase or a leaf etc.. you can bundle them like 30 days of daily floral practice or 30 days of still life practise for daily painting. For sure i would not accept it for free. I would be glad to pay a reasonable price of one time payment for the course. More ideas: 30 days of daily floral practise on small (8"x10") canvases.or the same in larges canvases.
