There might be better sketches of Loose Talk than this one, but I find this one brings out Moin's massive talent the best. Given the focus and camera time is mostly on him, there are very few facial expressions he needs to provide, and the topic is a basic day to day marriage ceremony - it's the sheer skill of immersive storytelling and narration, while himself being completely into the character with which he renders this beautiful work. It's just the tone, the voice modulation and the matter of factly delivery of punchlines (laga jaise kapaas k khet me bhainse ghus aaye hoan), that hits the sweetest spots. Extraordinary talent.

This comedy needs time to understand and our generation should listen it. It is not vulgar but needs to understand. Its rare nowadays. Today's some comedy performances are only vulgar and senseless apart from some such as kapil and some others. These two person had taken the comedy and humour to next level. कसम से मजा आ गया। किस्सागोई का अनुभव लाजवाब रहा। घर घर की कहानी जैसा लगा। आवाज में उतार चढाव गजब का है। मध्यम आय के लोगों के घरों में इस ही तरह शादी ब्याह निपटाए जाते थे। उस वक्त यानी 1960 :1970 तक भी ऐसा ही था। लोगों के पास पैसा कम होता था पर रसम ओ रिवाज मनाने का जुनून सा होता था। फिर भी बड़ा अच्छा लगता था। कम से कम आजकल जैसी फॉर्मेलिटी नहीं दिल से लोग शरीक होते थे शादियों में। दोनों महान एक्टर्स ने अपने रोल पूरी शिद्दत से निभाए। सुभानल्लाह।
