This is my first time watching this channel so I don't know if this is a regular thing or not, but having the developer interview inside the game, with him describing the changes, pointing to them with his virtual hand was a really cool experience. It was like a HGTV home improvement show, but as a devlog. Something I think could only be done with a VR game. Just showing video in a first person perspective wouldn't have given the same feeling. Will now be checking out the rest of your videos.

Thanks! We have done that a few times before, specifically Devlog 13 did that. Sometimes having another person in the game to showcase things is really useful so I try to include those sort of interactions every few Devlogs or so.

A great end to the year, development progress is looking awesome everyone. Big fan of the walking planks breaking and interacting with the world, anything that makes the game seem alive and interactive is what I like to see!

Thanks, we agree! The concepts at 8:45 also show that we'll be introducing a lot more intractable things very soon, even the ladders at 4:33 add a cool level of interactive immersion too.

A dungeon crawling extraction game is something very needed as a genre perfect for VR, Just thinking about going on an adventure and finding loot and bringing it back to my camp and progressively Getting stronger is true Role playing in its purest form.

I know that this isn't about ATT, but I just wanted some transparency. Is the development for ATT really done? It's alright if it is, I understand that a small studio juggling two games is a lot - but at the very least I just wanna know what's going on. Good luck on development for this game, it certainly looks a lot cleaner and definitely shows a lot of promise

It's PvEvP extraction, so you could be in dungeons with other players who want to take your precious loot. You also physically loot and can then equip that gear while still in a dungeon. Also things like our enemies are all temporary right now, we'll be showing new creatures and designs next year, so stay tuned for that. P2 is also very much grounded in reality and is a true dark fantasy setting. You have skill trees, levelling, unique merchants to buy and sell from. A social space to hang out with others including randoms. And much much much more, I think there's a lot that differentiates us and makes both games unique experiences to play in VR.

No. We want to tailor a curated space for players to explore and experience. However, elements of the dungeons may be randomized, such as there loot appears, enemies, passage ways...etc.

This is my full time job now so I don't have much time for Space64 anymore. This is also a commercial product while Space64 was a small hobby project and may not have ever made it to market for a price. I hope to return to it one day but I find working on a Project like this one, at this scale with others to collaborate with, much more interesting and fulfilling.

First Question: Will there be IOBT support? Second Question: What will separate this game from the million other "Rogue-like" VR games released in the past 8 or so years? There are FAR too many copy/pasted VR games out there, and while it's not "killing" the VR gaming industry, it certainly isn't helping it either.

We don't have IOBT support currently in-development but if the community ask for it, we can definatley look at adding it. In terms of what makes it unique. It's a PvEvP extraction looter in a dark fantasy world, so PvP being a main aspect of the game from the get go, means you may have to fight against others and learn the cut throat ways from an early stage. We also have deep classes, levelling, armor, weapons and a social space where you and friends or randoms can hang out and socialise in when not delving into the dungeons. As I mentioned, we're still in development and have been in active development for about a year so a lot more of the games planned features and our goals of what we want the game to be, will become clearer to everyone as we do public testing period for feedback and we're on that road to release.
