I did this for golden tench and went 2.5x the drop rate (drop rate is 1/20k). Worst 13 days of my life. This activity is so brain dead lol, though I did get fishing and hunter levels out of it I guess

Aerial Fishing is fun, you learn the movement of the bird and can kind of flow with it. Best to do it at the 3rd fish if starting off on it as it's better exp/pearls if not 99 hunter/fishing. You can get up to elite clues bottles but anything above hard is rare. For skillers you just need to talk to Otto to get the barb rod, don't need to use it and you can complete the pearl barb rod for full clog here. In the XP tracker you can click action done and that's a good aerial indicator except for cooking aka cutting the fish since its a in theory 0 tick thing. If you keep you fish chunks you can multiply them by 1.5 for your fish caught that hours/trip. Did it for a month straight and still enjoy it.

man i am about 100 hrs into getting fishing sack since i got barrel from temp. Currently at 890 pearls, 80k fish in and still no golden tench or heron. Not complaining though. It gave me reason to finally train hunter. I was at lvl 9 when i got the barrel

I got the entire set and all rods + fish sack from aerial fishing. I don't know how many hours, but i was there for about 2 weeks. Everyday 2-3 hours or more. Ye.

I have really bad ADHD and struggle with a lot of click-intensive grinds in this game, but I definitely agree that aerial fishing is weirdly fun! I've been doing it to get the pearl rod as well and I'm shocked how long I'm able to sit down and grind these pearls out. Putting the angler outfit in that shop is an absolute joke though lmao.

Yea I remember seeing that fish and was like yup I need that and went and grinded for that actually I wanted the fishing rod for anglers but ending grind for fish too took forever and I heard there a equitable shark on too I wan that so bad!

i think i've done a grand total of 20 mins of aerial fishing before slapping my face . It is fun not gonna lie . But i can't resume this grind till i get my hands on ~13 million euros . Why you ask ? Because the ~70 hours needed to get 1370 pearls for the 3rods+sack i can stomach , it's perfectly fine . But imagine getting all cosmetics and not getting the friggin tench . This is where the 13 million euros come into play , cause this is exactly how much you are gonna need in order to burn the entire city of Cambridge to the ground
