I can absolutely portrait back in days making a few mils per hours with this chest. I know it will sound kinda cringy to say but back in the days, I remember buying law runes, well before Grand Exchange, 1k each; when making law runes was a huge money maker. Imagine a world where runecrafting is at least twice as profitable as it is nowadays, without needing almost 99. It's probably why Rcing wasn't a bitch to do back then. Now, let's say that the price would have went down just even by 30% with the years and with the addition of grand exchange, with the cost of the runes and mithril bars being much higher back then as well (than what they are today) if some legend like MrNoSleep would tell me that someone once made millions in past with muddy key, I'd freaking believe him. Amazing video, profit also being much higher than my expectations (especially considering how much you bought the keys for).

Question. Muddy keys were added in 2001, dropped by the Chaos Dwarves also in 2001. However the muddy chest wasn't added until 2002 and the lava maze it's in wasn't until 2004. So what was the point in the early days? Or were they used on a different location?

@@shugo541 that chest was in RS classic. Whether or not it got reworked and wasnt always called lava maze it was def there. We didn't have lava dragons pretty sure they were just red dragons back on classic

I don't know what this whole Mithril Seed thing is but I got curious and did some testing on RS3 with them and bought 100 mithril seeds, planted them, and did the math on time and profit. Kinda long read but correct me if I'm wrong. The time should be about the same on OSRS since the tick timing is roughly the same.

1k ea seed 5 min 11 second to plant 100 100k for 100 seed 286,200 in flowers 100k mith seeds is 100,000,000 in cost 286,200 x 10 = 2,862,000 per 1,000 planted 286,200 x 100 = 286,200,000 per 100 sets of 1,000 planted. 286,200,000 - 100,000,000 = 186,200,000 in profit. 5:11 x 10 = 51 minutes 40 seconds per 1,000 planted. 51:40 x 100 = 5,106 minutes 40 seconds to plant 100,000 seeds. 86 hours to finish 100,000 mithril seeds.
