Loota Percussion drum set and Loota blocks small & medium

Here is a little sample of how Loota products work in the studio. In this video, I use the Loota drumset Cocoa Bean colour, Loota percussion Blocks Small and Medium, Loota pedal, Amedia 14" FX cymbal and Rohema XL brushes. All products are available on our webshop, www.lootapercussion.com. We used four microphones when we recorded this song. In bass drum AKG Solid Tube, Shure 57 on snare and overhead two AKG 414. I was lucky that I got the best people to work with me in this session. My friend Matti Fredriksson wrote, produced and played plenty of instruments in this music, amazing Teemu Viinikainen played guitars.

I like the fact that nobody noticed that there are no mics to be seen in this video, which means that he didn’t actually play this live. No mics = no live recording= different performance added in post.

I like all what i see from Loota percussion - very nice ideas - but in my opinion a fully equipped drumset at least has something to offer for both feets .. and there also could be a little bit more space for cymbal and percussion gimmicks on the set.

Hi Paul, I think There ain't many people who know this music because we made it by ourself in to this video. Matti Fredriksson wrote and produced this song. He also played all instrument except Guitar and Loota drum set. Guitar played Teemu Viinikainen and I Mika Lilja played Loota Drums. We recorded this song first and then we filmed this playback version. We wanted to film this video without microphones.. that people can see better this instrument.

Thank you. Loota snare is much quieter then normal snare drum. Volume in Loota snare drum is almost same like in a acoustic guitar. Loota Drum set works perfect in acoustic music.
