I cannot believe your guys are in my backyard! Lopez was my first overnight camping experience when I bought my RV during the shutdown. I was in "quail" trying out full hookups. I love your videos and love your BC videos - I am on my way up to Canada in June and will be passing by your backyard! Enjoy - watch out for those Lopez lake ticks!

I lived on Upper Lopez canyon rd on are 1K acre ranch. We used to lease back from the park for are cows. That was a long time ago... 92. Are Family had oat hay on the bottom land in the lake area back in the 50s. The park gave are Family 10C on the dollar for the prime bottom land. Hopefully they use the water wisely...

Thank you for a most informative video. I'm trying to make reservations for September but have been unable to find much campsite information and/or reviews. The website provided by SLO County Parks is a little light on detail. As one person put it, selecting a site is pretty much of a crapshoot. Thanks for the help.

That water park is the only thing to do for miles around the area.
