@Dominick Haynes born with it. Just because I dont like this synth/midi attempt at the theme doesn't mean I am not a "true" fan, especially since a "true" fan RELISHES Martin O'Donnel and Michael Salvatori's work, like me. I just have the ear for certain elements of music, and this specific "epic" cover fails in many ways in terms of composition, but is harmed by the fake midi instruments. The only believable instrument sound was the percussion. Which had very little variation and lacked the classic cowbell hit the original had at the peak of intensity.

But the synth and fake sound it has makes it pretty bad next to O'Donnel's work to anyone that prefers the Gregorian/ Riverdance Orchestration that inspired the original theme, which is severely lacking in this synth take on it. To each their own, but this has the iconic medleys while lacking iconic sounds and compositions. Certainly less epic than the original

@@benjamindeml Keep in mind, I said one of the worst. Not THE worst. I just know that they were in development hell in the story for Halo 5, and scrapped their initial plot line. That left them with little time to make their revised version that we see in the game. It also doesn't help that the game was basically incomplete. Forge didn't come until later, same with various other custom game modes. However, that's multiplayer. I just think that even the fan base, had they brought some people in to work on the writing, could have had a better idea of what to do in the first place. Here is an example: Problem: I hate everyone in Fireteam Osiris except Buck. There is no attachment to the others by any means. Solution: When writing the story, they could have had Buck as the main focus of what Osiris would have been instead of Locke. He has history with the chief, at least to an extent. If Veronica was also there as an ONI field operative, that would have been able to feed a conflict of whether the chief's actions are in the right or wrong. (This is not a fully developed idea. I am aware of this. I would need to sit down for an hour and consider how the story would go like this). Note: There are also various plot holes in Halo 5 if you didn't read any books that may have come out explaining the situation. Such a plot hole is how the UNSC already knows that Cortana is alive. AND why they already know that chief should not follow.
