The missionaries came to our village on the island of Borneo in the late 40's and thus we became christians, otherwise we were reffered as the 'head hunters' of Borneo. Some parts of the Scripture were translated into our local dialect and made easy for the old illetrate folks to understand, so were some of the old christian gospel songs translated and taught to us and since then I love and prefer to hear old gospel songs.
