I swapped out Felthius's head (using some cutting) for the plague marine unhelmetted sergent head, looks so much cooler. (the I gave felthius's head to a random MK3 marine and called him smiley Jim)

I cut off the pins of the base add ons and plugged the holes and then used the add ons on other models cause i think the bases get to crowded so i put the nurgling on my plagueburst crawel (jabba one) my other nurgling with the grenade on mortarions base together with some spare nurglibgs fron my nurgling box and put the slime thing on a sepperate base with a nurgling as an objective. Like its something my death guard want to investigate for a plague or something

Interesting that on the website it says that Lord Felthius is a Chaos Lord in Terminator armor..... But in the data sheet, it says Lord Felthius is a Lord of Contagion.....

I put my lord felthius on the bigger base. It is totaly worth doing so, because he gets even more oresence on the battlefield

I do think making these easy build kits is a good business move by GW tbh. I've known quite a few people who would like to play 40K, but the modeling part put them off. " it's a pity, but I'm lousy at making kits / don't have time to make those things " is something I've heard more than once. By making them easy to put together I think they may well get more people interested in the game. I think they should do more of these for the rank and file troops as well for it to really get people involved. maybe make them in packs of five . Of course they should also continue making their more usual kits as well. I was going to mention painting the things as well, but that, as they say, is another story....

Manic smile makes perfect sense. People just assume nurgle means “gross and scary!” When really he’s a pretty gregarious guy and his followers are ecstatic to be spreading his gifts. Nurgle is one of the most joyous chaos factions, his lore explains this pretty well. People just ether can’t read or ignore that part of his blessings bc they are edge lords.

Super3rSaiy3n- Great video. I'm like you as far not being a big fan of the slime drippin from the plague spewer. I clipped it off and sanded it. Looks much better. Also clipped off the pool of slime on the base. I love the Death Guard aesthetics, but at time it can be overdone and come off as cartoonish. Super nit-picky though, loooove the new Death Guard. If this 8th release is the new standard for 40K quality, the future is looking bright!

Liking the videos man, I kinda regretted buying this box at first but after assembling and prepping I can't help but snicker and feel a fondness for the whole lot of them. I'm mostly okay with it due to being able to take an unusual unit of three for 148 points.

I love all the death guard and new nurgle stuff, but the slime and sludge pouring out of the barrel of the weapons and other places are less preferable to the other DG terminators........ good vid

Lord felthius looks quite allright... Awesome armour, cool gear, but I just don't like his face at all, I also won't be able to get used to it. I will definitely do some conversion on his model to hide his face.

I finally sub and a new vid pops up. Nice! They do look good, don’t they. GW had come so far with details. It’s a bit weird with the “smoke” or tentacle’esque protrusions, but I’m sure most can live with it.

A video every day!? A-MAZING! I like this set and the price is great. There's two weird things about this set. The one you addressed with the smaller base. The other is, why on earth is the one armed with the spewer not also armed with a melee weapon? All terminators come with a sword or an axe.

Lord Felthius looks like Wallace Shawn but imo it's a good thing. We don't see enough nurgle models who are spreading the joys of nurgle. A lot of them are in line with the grimdark grunge that 40k has but descriptions of nurgles armies talk about the joyous singing and the comraderie of the marines who, to them, are spreading the immortality and blessings of the benevolent grandpappy nurgle.

Lord Felthius is not a "new" Lord of Contagion, he is not a Lord of Contagion at all, he is a Chaos Lord in Terminator Armor. That's why he's got a 40mm base.
