People also forget about what Guru did with Jazzmatazz. After the first album, they were probably bigger overseas than they were here. He produced those and it was his concept. He collaborated with some great artists like Donald Byrd, Roy Ayers, Chaka Khan, and countless others. Individually and as Gangstarr Guru and Premier had a massive impact.
