I live in Seattle, 32 years old - discovered Lord Huron through this very video 5-6 years ago. I sat through the entire video on the first sitting. Since then, I’ve listened to this album and this particular video at least 1,000 times on my trips to go hiking in Nevada, Utah, and Arizona. I can’t explain it but when you’re on the road in the desert, or really anywhere with open landscape, this music does something special that no other music can do. I can’t put my finger on it. Thank you to KEXP, DJ EL Toro (for forcing them to play so many songs :)), and of course Lord Huron. I don’t know if Lord Huron realizes how special this music is to some people. It’s unique, it’s so incredibly underrated, and I feel very lucky to have discovered it. This album specifically allows me to escape the corporate tech world I work in and whatever personal struggles I’m facing. It’s a time machine for me. 🙏

The way each musician seems to be feeling their part.. So in sync with each other it's beautiful..the individuality and unity of the instruments are so well adjusted! I'm totally saturated with love for this group! And I am of older generation.😊

I said we're all gonna die but I'll never believe it I love this world and I don't wanna leave it Said that death is a deal that you cannot refuse But I love you girl and I don't wanna lose you Don't want a long ride I don't wanna die at all I wanna be the man who lives forever I ain't never gonna die and I want you to come I said life is a tale, it begins and it ends And forever's a word that we can't understand Well I know that my life's better when we're together So why can't our story just go on forever? Don't want a long ride I don't wanna die at all I wanna be the man who lives forever I ain't never gonna die and I want you to come I said life without end wouldn't have any meaning The journey to death is the point of our being Well the point of my life is to be with you babe But there ain't enough time in the life that they gave me I said we're all gonna die but I'll never believe it I love this world and I don't wanna leave it Said that death is a deal that you cannot refuse But I love you girl and I don't wanna lose you I wanna be the man who lives forever And all those days and all those nights Together forever, forever alive

@mgmjdp10 жыл бұрын
I don't know if it's the case here, but sometimes artists use one microphone for their plain voice and the other for effects.
@manuelggonzalezv9 жыл бұрын
Exactly right, although it seems like the mic on his left has a delay/echo on it too. See 14:48 for the effect on the mic on the right. Singing into both simultaneously blends the two effects.
